things to avoid if you have estrogen-positive receptors

Wish all our oncologists would warn us about avoiding certain products that could give us breast cancer again!!! Soy is one of them my doctor has never mentioned to me, but members of my Breast Cancer Support Group have said their doctors have. I found a new ingredient. Honey Royal Jelly!!!! I've been smearing a cream made with this all over my face for the past two years all the time taking Tamoxifen, an estrogen blocker. Maybe the terrible rash I got was a blessing, but I'm not a happy camper. Royal Jelly is used in many facial creams. Not worth it. What else has estrogen in it that I dont' know about?

    Great question Y.

Lots of women here have chucked all their face creams and use organic coconut oil.  I use it and like it a lot.  Great for conditioning your hair too.

I would add flax seed (controversial) and any soy supplements.  Miso and fermented soy are usually ok in small amounts.

@kay--and I have been spaying my face with lavender oil as a 'natural' moisturizer!!!
