I have to admit I read every single one of these posted articles about "cause". Mostly out of concern for my children's future. Lately, though, I've been letting these articles make me nuts, so I'm going to stop. Yah, I missed the odd scheduled dental cleaning, I ate sugar, and tons of it as a kid, I drank from plastic water bottles, I used bleach to clean my shower, I was stressed, I smashed my boob in the car door, I grabbed lawn fertilzer with my hands, I smoked, I only excercised twice a week, I used detergeant with phosphates, I heated food in the microwave, I spent way too much time in the sun, I used cosmetics and personal care products with known carcinogens, I subsisted on Big Macs and Fries in high school, I've had a coke (a-cola) every single day of my life......and on and on. About the only risk factors I didn't have were being overweight and drinking. So I've decided to rationalize....either I created my own perfect storm...or nobody has a frickin' clue what causes it. I'm going with the latter so I don't drive myself insane "what if-fing" myself anymore.
