5 years and still NED!! yay!!

Just wanted to check in with fellow triple negatives and hopefully encourage those newly diagnosed. I don't think my signature says I am also BRCA 2+ and I have three sisters who also carry the gene mutation, two of them have also had breast cancer (estrogen+, 4 and 19 yrs out from diagnoses). These boards are full of information and amazingly strong and compassionate people. May God bless you all with courage, strength and hope in your battles!

That is awesome Alex! My mom is BRCA1+, and on her second battle with triple negative. It's so encouraging to hear of BRCA+ women living their lives and doing great, beyond a diagnosis! Laughing

Five was a magic anniversary for me too...I'm so happy for you...Seems like after five years I was finally able to digest most of what happened and take those baby steps away from the whole mind-numbing scenerio of the bc experience...Hope you and your sisters have a fabulous celebration and many, many, many more!!!!
