Well, crap. Those articles on caffeine are totally contradictory. One says that caffeine is good for us because it encourages apoptosis and I was all, "OMGthisisthebestnewsevernowIwillneverevergiveupmyonecupofcoffee." But the other said that caffeine increased estrogen levels after even just 1 cup and that caffeine increased the risk of tumors over 2cm by 79 percent and now I'm all "OMGthisisdefinitelynotcoolIshouldneverdrinkcoffeeagain."
What does everyone else think?

This is why the diet stuff makes me TIRED! I drink two mugs of coffee every morning. I also drink green tea quite often. I LIKE my morning coffee, a lot. Nobody has told me not to drink coffee. Sigh! Oh, and the livestrong article talks about coffee in connection with the hormonal fluctuations of the menstrual cycle. What if youhave no cycle and no ovaries?
-
Oh, and as for the med diet, I live in Greece, so we actually eat a mostly med diet anyway.
-
Oh, Momine, keep on drinking your coffee. You're a rock star.
-
LOL, thanks!
-
Yes, I'm a two cup per morning coffee drinker myself. I see no credible reason to give it up. It is a pleasure I look forward to and there is nothing wrong with life's little pleasures!

I concur with my learned colleague. What is drinking two cups of excellent organic shade grown fair trade coffee going to do to me? Give me cancer? Oh wait, I already have that!

I could have left this as a deleted message, but must admit.....Oops too excited, must be that coffee.
