    My older sister was supposed to be tested for lynch syndrom after they removed a large polyp at 28 following a gi bleed, we have a large family history on both sides of cancer with most of our paternal grandmothers siblings passing from cancer, she has not completed testing yet due to cost. Should I push for it at my appointment thursday when they check my breast lump?

    Bulldog --- what would the Lynch type breast ca tumor be? My father had colon ca and passed away from bile duct cancer in mar. Geneticist mentioned Lynch, but I have not been tested.

    My geneticist also mentioned Lynch (colon cancer on mother's side) but then she dismissed it saying that breast cancer is currently not in the spectrum of Lynch syndrome.  Does anyone have any current research stating otherwise?
