Small lump in armpit

This weekend I noticed a small tender lump in my right (cancer side) armpit.  Of course I'm imagining the worst, but trying not to over react.  I coincidentally have my annual appointment with my internal medicine doctor on Wednesday, so I'll have him look at it and see if he recommends calling my MO.

I had my surgery April 12 and I'm just lately feeling really good, getting back to working out and most of my usual routine. Ugghhh!

Has anyone else had something like this?

A friend who is a nurse practitioner confirmed today that it is a swollen lymphnode.  She wasn't too concerned but thought I should get it looked at for peace of mind.  Seeing a doctor tomorrow.  Anyone have something similar???

I found two lumps under my arm pit two weeks ago. Tried not to panic..(failed LOL). They went away after a week it so..Probably a swollen node .

    Hope it cleared up!!

I would go to my BS for this. You had your surgery only 2 months ago(BMX?Lumpectomy?) Lymph nodes taken. This could be related to your surgery & even if it's not the surgeon would be a better choice. Better trained at evaluating & finding lumps. I think I have a bump developing at the end of my scar. I'm trying to check it only every 2-3days, thinking that maybe poking at it might be making it worse. My "swollen" node that I had for 3+years turned out to be a positive sentinal node. They couldn't find a tumor in my breast,so it was an "isolated' node or so they thought. Have it checked out but I'd go to the BS for this. Hope it resolves quickly for you.
