Happy Day !!!
Yes, yes yes!!!! We did it!! My daughter Mary graduated and received her Master's Degree. What a day we had!!! First a beautiful ceremony, then couple of hours to get ready for the big party and of course lots of champaign through the whole day. Ohhh it was the happiest day in my life. She started her master's, when I was diagnosed two years ago and you all know how I was feeling about "the two years later"... We are very pleased, because the University has already hired her as a Dean assistant and educator. Just wanted to share with you the happy event and some pics. It was a day full of mixed feelings and emotions. But did ever think of cancer? NO...

Wonderful, wonderful! Congrats!
My baby's high school graduation was this weekend and I remember when I was diagnosed 4 years ago I was thinking I would not see the day. I cried like a baby all through the graduation but they were happy happy tears!

Congratulations to both you and your daughter. I have children around the same age. They still need us. Nobody is more proud of their accomplishments than their mama.

Thanks everyone for sharing the joy and your good wishes!!! The fiesta is still going on. Where I live, it's so much about food, drink and celebration and we have guests almost every day. Lots of cooking and cheers. Great distraction and excuse to have a glass of wine or two
... Have a blessed day everyone!!!

That's wonderful, Karina! I had the honor of seeing both my son and daughter walk across the stage to get their masters. The son's university was only a couple of hours away but we had to go to Hong Kong for the daughter's. I share your happiness and your tears! Here's to many more celebrations in your future!
