Anyone on Tamox and Zoloft

I have been taking Zoloft 25 mg up to 50 for years along with Klonopin(yes i hate it),, but it controls the anxiety and depression. I want to know if anyone else takes this combination and if you are having good results. I am extremely nervous to add tamox to the mix. Need a kick in the butt here... Also, when do you take your meds and in what combination.... thank you anyone.....

    Hello, my situation isn't exactly like yours but I started taking Tamoxifen around the same time that I finished rads and went back to work. It was a really difficult time and I just couldn't take it, my doc prescribed 50 mg Zoloft...I couldn't take the side effects of that dose so I went for 25 mg for months. Only major side effect was the sexual side effect. Anyway, the first month of Tamoxifen, I had some night sweats, flashes, a little of nausea..then it was gone.

    After 10 months I developed severe body/bone/joint pain. After a bunch of tests, my onc told me to stop the Tamox for a few weeks. After two weeks the pains were gone and I discovered I felt much better emotionally and mentally too! I weaned myself off the Zoloft, stopped the Tamoxifen and feel better these days. Fatigue is still there but I joined a gym hoping that it will help.

    I was told that you could not take Zoloft w/ Tamoxifen. I was weaned off and put on Effexor instead. I will start the Tam after rads. I know there is another thread somewhere that talks about this. Hope this helps. Take care.
