Chabba - Girlfriend, Now that's what I'm talking about. Male cleavage is looking really good. I can see there is going to be quite a pocket party going on tomorrow!!
-
June - thanks for your advice. I've already notice some SEs have gone away and I'm crossing my fingers the rest go away too! Sorry to hear you had such a sad weekend. Sending you a gentle hug!
Charmaine - you're welcome. I found it handy to have the list of potential side effects and how to manage them. And it was a good reminder about blood clots. I hope other ladies will find the list helpful as well.
Paula - Glad your appointment went better than the last time. Did your doctor recommend the baby aspirin because you might be higher risk for a blood clot, or did he/she think it would just be a good idea? I may have to ask my doctor about that because there is heart disease in my family.
Sherry - Happy Birthday. Hope you're having a fantastic day

-
MissAngie the ONC had me take it from the start as a precaution. I don't have a history, but they just wanted to make sure that I am staying on top of things. It would be a good idea to talk to your doc about it.
JUNIE WOW O WOW!! I think that man candy has put all mine to shame, WTG girl!
Jo here is some man candy to focus on tomorrow.

-
Paula - You came through once again. I don't know which one is better so I am going to take both of them. My appt should be a breeze.

Just got back from my gyn appt and it is not good. I had another transvaginal US done and my uterus is very thick again - he said it looks like a sponge. So, I am scheduled for June 29th. Tamoxifen loves my uterus. I am so scared now. Don't know if I could deal with cancer at the other end.
I have a dinner business meeting tonight. That will be a good distraction. Will try and get back on here later.
Thanks everyone for the pocket party. I really appreciate all the love and support.
-
Jo girlfriend your uterus needs to give you a break. I'm so glad you asked the Dr. to do the US on you again. We will all be here holding your hand and giving you hugs.
-
Thanks Sherry. I am so very scared right now. Don't need to hear I have cancer at the other end. Path report will tell all.
-
We're all here for you Jo. Try not to jump to bad conclusions just yet. It could just be mushy stuff and not scary, bad stuff. Sending you all of my wishes for good health and B9 results. How long will the path results take?
-
Jo honey praying for you girlfriend and of course you are scared, who wouldn't be. Going to chant b-9 b-9 b-9 till you tell me it is.....luv you!
-
Jo - hang in there!! I am crossing my fingers its b9. Sending you hugs.
-
Here's to it being B9 Jo!!!! Got ya in my prayers my dear Sista!
-
Good luck jo!
-
Jo: I am praying for you too! Take heart and don't let fear rob you of your strength! Love, light, and blessings to you!
-
Jo - Saying a little prayer for B9 and I ain't talking about bingo! Seriously though, we are behind you to help hold you up when you need support.... Hang in there hon. Prayers & hugs for you....
-
This is 2 years in a row I will have to do this. Enough is enough. Whoever thought that once your uterus was scraped, the shit would grow back??? As far as the path report, I don't know how long I will have to wait. I am having the procedure done on Friday and will have the weekend to try and guess. Will keep everyone posted.
-
Oh Jo, I know what you are going through. I had the D&C in February and when I went back for my ultrasound last week, the lining was thickend AGAIN, so I have to have a biopsy on July 3rd. Tamoxifen loves my uterus too I guess! I know how you feel though. Scared that it could be something and sick and tired of all this garbage. Please know that I'm praying for B-9 results for you. Take care.
-
I hate the thought of the dam* tamoxifen!!!!!! Had anyone ever asked their gyn doc if endimetrial ablation would eliminate this issue? I know it sounds simplistic but? ?? Best wishes jo!
-
Jo & Deb - thinking of you both and hoping for good results and some sort of relief for you.
-
schipmom - Your biopsy will be just a few days after mine. I will also be thinking about you. Enough of this crap. When does it ever end??? I so hate Tamoxifen and just hope neither one of us has to do this every year.
I am very seriously thinking about having a complete hysterectomy - ovaries and all next summer so I can forget this crap. I am 57 and don't need the plumbing or the worry anymore.
