Hi everyone,
It now looks like we have three definites and three possibles. Please keep me posted.
-
Just let me know if you guys cancel!
-
I dont think i will be able to make this get together. Will try and make the next one.

Oh it's this coming weekend, isn't it? I'm sorry, it's just not going to work out for me either. June is such a busy month with all the end of year stuff going on. Hopefully in the summer!
-
OK, can I get everyone who is coming on Sunday to so state on this thread? I do have to call the restaurant and adjust the numbers.
-
I can still make it if folks are think we have enough but up to the gang
-
I'm back from my exchange. I should be able to make it; not sure if my Mom will still be here. Any chance I might be able to get a ride if I'm not quite up to driving? I should be. I'm about 15 minutes from KC, in Plainsboro.
-
Congrats Rachel! So glad to hear it went well. I would be happy to drive you if you need.
And please count me in as a definite, Sandy. -
Hi folks, I may now have a problem attending. I have an uncle who is dying in Ohio and I may have to go out at any time for the funeral. Could be this weekend, could be next week. Could be a little after that. At this time, I'm reluctant to cancel the lunch, since it does appear that there are maybe 4-5 of us, if I make it.
-
Hi. Just got word my uncle isn't expected to live out the day, so I'm flying out to Ohio on Sunday morning. If you all want to keep the date, I'll call and change the reservation to someone else's name.
-
Alexandria - So sorry to hear about your uncle. Please take all our thoughts with you to your family. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to go, so you can put it in mine - should we get another headcount, though? I've lost track. It will just be me, it seems - my dad wants my mom back since I seem to be recovering well.
-
rachel, funny comment that your dad wants your mom back!
guess I get it
well since I need things to keep my mind busy this weekend, will figure on Sunday brunch is we still have a gang and if someone needs a bus to pick up, yell as I am in Sayreville and easy to find folks
-
OMG I would love to go...I dont have a car.I was offered a ride the last time but i had a problem with my son and could not go.Besides the sweet sista who offered me the ride lived quite far from me and I really was uncomfortable with her doing it.....
Proudtospin-I dont live far from you.I live in Old Bridge right off RT9.If its ok with you can you pm me all the info.
I have been following this thread and wanted to meet my NJ sistas.

Sandy, so sorry about your uncle. Safe travels and my thoughts are with you and your family.
Re: brunch - I'm still in. Rachel - do you still need a ride? -
I'm going to try driving tomorrow and see how it goes. Can I let you know tomorrow evening?
Also - I'm doing the Relay for Life Survivors Lap tomorrow at Mercer County Park. The event starts at 4, but the Survivor's Lap is at 6. Looking forward to my victory walk, bandages and all.
-
Rachel, you are amazing! Have a great time at your victory walk tomorrow!
I am going to a friend's b-day tomorrow evening so maybe better to text me vs post here if we need to make a plan. Think you have my number but I will send it by PM just in case. Cheers to you!
-
Hi everyone,
I am changing the reservation from 10 to 6 - just in case others show up- and reserving it in Vanessa's name, since she was helping me with the original planning. Hope you have a great get-together and hope I can make the next one.
My uncle died yesterday. Thanks for all the sympathy. He was an incredibly kind man. He had bladder cancer for which they only did surgery - found out last Sunday that it had spread everywhere, and then he was gone. But he was older, and had had a good life.
-
Just to clarify - the 10 to6 is the number of people. Orignial time still stands.
-
So, I am Vanessa in case anyone was wondering. Reservation is 11:30 at KC Prime in Lawrenceville. I am not going to be able to be on the boards after this post until late tonight. Please post here if you do had planned on coming and now cannot - otherwise, see you tomorrow!
-
Looks like Im comin too.Proudtospin just offered to pick me up.
This is so exciting. This will be a first for me.
Looking forward to meet my sistas.

Just as a heads up - I can make it, but will be leaving by 1:30 (I remember last time we stayed at the restaurant like 3+ hours....). One of my radio programs won an award, and the ceremony is tomorrow afternoon and I need to pick up a colleague at the station at 2 but it's nearby.
-
Rachel, congrats on your award and your driving! Looking forward to seeing you.
And I am FINALLY going to meet Grannydukes! Can't wait!
-
Looks to me like definites are:

Proud to Spin
Grannydukes

Am I missing anyone? Please post here if you aren't on the list and plan to come so I can adjust the reservation if needed. Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow! -
Have fun today ladies! Our last luncheon was SO much fun, I'm sure I'll be missing out today:-(
I have too many family obligations: Cello recital & soccer playoff game.
