Results!!!!!!!
Hi all
Just had a call from the Cancer Clinic and my results were great!!!! I only had scar tissue no sign of new cancer. However the oncologist says another u/s in November just to keep on top of things. She says live your life as if the Cancer isn't coming back but keep checking to make sure it doesn't.
I like her attitude but I just want her to say your done with breast cancer and you needn't look back. I asked if we will always have to keep on top of the breast cancer and she said unfortunately we will. It sucks to have it always with you!!! but I'm alive today and feeling OK and that's what important.
Thanks to all of you for support, when it's darkest you all are always there. Hope I can return the favor and hope all your results are like mine were this week
Love to you all

Nannajean, congratulations on your great results! Sounds like sensible advice from your oncologist - starting with the "Live your life" part.

Hi every body, i m new here but happy that I found you. One week ago I had the surgery to replace the tissue expander with permanent silicon and now I can feel right about 15 mm above the scar when I touch it is kind of firm and I really can't understand if it feels like a lump or it is just firm from the scar tissue. I was diagnose in January had single mastectomy and 2 month later start tamoxifen . Right now I stop tamoxifen because of the surgery ... Did some one from here experince such a thing after the tissu exp. exchange? I m so scared that I couldn't sleep last night at all . I can't really deal with this again , especially I m new married and move to USA last year In november , all my family are back in Europe just me and my husband here
( wish you all the best ! Elena
