IV in Leg

Now I'm starting to worry myself with every little thing! Two weeks too long to wait. LOL. Here is question. Since I'm having IV in my leg/foot and will be in hospital one or two days, will I be able to get around without problem? Like getting out of bed to go bathroom on my own, etc.?

Yes, you should be OK. I had it recently after my hyster and it was OK except that I am desperately afraid of ALL IVs, but that is a whole nother story.

I think you'll be o.k. The one I had in the top of my foot was taped down very well. I was still mobile enough to get to the bathroom and take little walks etc. It was more the long IV tube that got in the way....it was forever tangling.

I had foot IV's for all reconstructions. It is weird but workable.
