I made the same thread last week. LOL
Maud was very helpful to me and provided me with a lot of information. You really have to do the research, though, speak with the integrative medicine department at your treatment center, speak with your MO, etc. You can't rely on just internet research, and while many of these posters here are very well educated about the subject, most are not doctors, so you have to take that into account, too.
I chose DIM, because for me, it seemed like the right choice - fewer things you had to be aware of to use it. But, again, that was after discussing the fact that I wasn't able to take Tamoxifen with my MO, and discussing the pros and cons of fake menopause from Lupron shots, and side effects of AI's on top of that, and then spending an hour consultation with the integrative medicine department talking about these supplements.
It's a choice you have to make - each of us have our own individual body chemistry. That's why there is such a vast range of side effects from the various medications. What works for me may not work for you. So always check with professionals - there's a reason they spend an additional many years in school learning these things...
Good luck!!

Thanks...

barbiecorn, I'm on DIM and have been for years - chose not to take Tamoxifen - I'm 8 yrs past BC, so that (and a whole lotta other things) must be working! I've written some info on my website about DIM - http://marnieclark.com/breast-health/what-is-dim/ and hopefully something there will help you. Hugs!

Mclark, how much DIM do you take? My CAM-friendly gyno recommended 100mgs twice a day.

Thank you for the information Marnie!!!

Wow they are actually doing clinical trials with DIM. That sounds promising!!!

I use DIM. My naturopathy does blood tests to check my hormone levels. My insurance also pays for these blood tests in full.

I am ER+/PR+ , HER2- and on Femara. Is it OK to take DIM or IC3 with Femara?
