I use BioOil. It is readily available at most stores in the First Aid section.

a nurse gave me a tube after my mastectomy and i'm hooked--it truly does what it says it will do. you can buy it via amazon for less $$.

I didn't use anything for 3 0r 4 weeks, then I began to use scar gel by dermae ? I believe.

I honestly can't see where it made a difference, so when i had the second mastectomy I used coconut oil...the bottom line is scars fade in around 18 months for me, not too much seems to change that. but I do keep them soft with the oil, and I do a myofascial release when i rub it in, so it is a win-win.

For massage when my left TE was removed I used cocoa butter, but I know some ladies use organic coconut oil too, the kind you buy for cooking can be used if softened.

I used BioOil all over my TEs and within minutes began to itch.

The good news: apparently I still have some feeling there.... Smile

The bad news: apparently I am allergic to BioOil.... Frown
