    True .... I have to stop ... not dark though -- my favourite is "chocolate covered ju-jubes" and don't knock them 'til you try them.

    The next person is going to Chapters to check out some good books I heard about on BCO from my "sisters"

    Wellwater - we rent a house in Port Charlotte ... great area, a bit relaxed, not much night life - more families and snow birds .... screened in pool and wonderful -  have been doing this for years ...

    No - there are no bookstores - Chapters or otherwise -  within walking distance from my home, buy I might head to the library later this week.

    True....I have caught a few wonderful moments in the celebration.  Loved the tall ships

    The next person is very sad that all the bookstores have closed.

    (Joanne..sounds lovely.  We have rented a house on the beach in Gulf Shores, AL a few times...I just love it)

    False~ What book stores have closed?? We still have book stores in Florida.. I hope to always have book stores.

    Cyndielou --- I will be there in March 2013 -- what beach has the sand dollars - have got shark's teeth but have never gotten a sand dollar -- that would be great.

    False.....DH is retired but is allergic to "housework"...he does cook but I'd also like to see him doing more work around the house.

    (Cyndielou - Our Borders bookstores closed last year and the closest BandN has also closed.  I think there is a warehouse-type book store that opened somewhere in the area but not sure where.  I miss the Border's stores so much)

    The next person remembers Kroch and Brentano's bookstores

    mine just turned 92; but he is deep into dementia, so it is really sad

    the next person wonders what is in the purse that Queen Elizabeth brings with her where ever she goes (and wonders why a queen would need to carry a purse at all)

    (I lost my dad in 2004--- he was 85 -- miss him for sure -- he also had alzheimers Ruth -- sad to watch someone you love suffer from dementia)

    true, she does look great and is a real good sport too....thinking about the concert last night, (not geared for the 80s plus set), riding down the river in the rain, and all the other duties she carries out so gracefully
