biopsy tomorrow along scar site

It was 3 years ago June first when I was diagnosed and have been through the 6 chemos and 16 rads but this past month the oncologist thought my scar felt a little lumpy. after a mammogram and u/s last Thursday my oncologist phoned to say I should have a biopsy as the scar showed on u/s to be slighly rounder and slightly bulkier with some 1/4 in mass (not nessarily cancer) but need to have a look all the same.  Have been this route and don't like heading down this long road again.  I am not in a total panic but I am worried.  Has anyone had this same type of diagnosis and still had positive (no Cancer) results.

I have to wait 10 days for path report.  A long couple of weeks ahead.

62 yrs of age lumpectomy 2009 7/16 pos nodes. estrogen and progestren +3  on letrozole

    Good luck.  Hopefully it is nothing.  Sorry you have to wait so long for a path report, that is so nervewracking!

    nanajean, I'm sorry u have to wait and wonder what the next steps are (if any) but everything that they feel or see now we're under such scrutiny, All I say is I get headaches and I get tested as we all do--it's tiring but necessary.  One thing what ever it might be it was found early and it will be taken cre of- So try u'r best ro relax and just wait to hear what's going on---it might all be fine.
