Mom's Pet Scan Not Ok-I'm a mess.

Dear Ladies,

  I need your support..I'm crying as I write this...Mom was stable since '10 and now the Pet Scan has not come out well..stable..We know nothing about it..The doc called my parents into the office yesterday and said he will know further on Monday after talking to the radiologist.  I am so emotional right now...As many of you know she has Stage IV cancer with mets to the liver/bones....and WBR for brain mets...I just want to hug someone who will tell me it will be alright...Im so emotional right now..My Dad told me ..they found this out yesterday and Mom did not want to tell me...Im so sorry if I'm ranting ...Im just really really upset.

    If you want to hug someone and she's near, hug your Mom. She will need that now and she can hold you close too.



    Try to get through the weekend until the Dr can come up with a plan. I hope it is a good one.

    I am so sorry to hear this.  My dad passed on May 3 from a GBM (brain cancer) and my younger sister has just been diagnosed with breast cancer.  All I can say is that even when things are not okay and turn out not okay - there can be comfort from spending time together and being a support.  I know that I feel okay about my dad and will about my sister because I will be there every step of the way.  I am sending good thoughts your way.

    Hugs . . .

     My mom was diagnosed as Stage IV in March of this year. It's not an easy path, but it is manageable. Just hang in there!

     Rant away! That's what these forums are for.

    Hi Trust, I am from new zealand and just want to know we are keeping you and  your mum and Dad  in our thoughts. I will have to give you a long extended (((((((((hug)))))))). You hang on in there and your mum  is very lucky having you around. BE STRONG.
