Missing a Herceptin dose, reschedule

I mistakenly scheduled a vacation for the week of my every 3 week herceptin dose. Has anyone been in this situation? What did you and the doctor do?

    My Herceptin tx got off schedule once when I was unable to take chemo due to low platelets.  I got H alone that day, then went back the next week for just chemo.  From there, I was back on the regular 3-week cycle, but by then it had been 4 weeks since my last Herceptin.  I mentioned this during my visit with the MO, and he switched me to a loading dose for the next tx.

    My MO told me not to go over 4 weeks.

    I travel a lot for work and my Onc said no problems if I needed to delay my herceptin by a few days or up to a week later. I only did delay it the once by a week and then just made my next herceptin appoint for 3 weeks from that one.

    I had a two week business trip to Europe and a 3 week Herceptin dose would have fallen in the middle. My onc adusted the dose 2 weeks before to a 2 week dose. Then I got another 2 week dose just before I traveled and had a regular 3 week dose when I got back.
