I've read about Dr Ryke Geerd Hamer and his "New German Medicine" but I can't remember which of the alternative medicine web sites it was on. I can only find sites that are hard to understand at the moment and I need to get to bed as it's early morning here in Australia. His theory is that an emotional shock causes cancer and he has some treatments at his clinic in Germany, if I remember correctly.
Tapping is the common name for EFT, or Emotional Freedom Technique. which was developed by Gary Craig. He very generously taught this technique to people for no cost, but since then many have jumped on the bandwagon and try to sell their own version. This is a simple technique for clearing emotional problems using the acupuncture points. He's had remarkable success with war vets who've had Post Traumatic Stress Disorder that had disrupted their lives for decades and they had a complete recovery.
I don't know about the theory, but I can say that I used it on my son when he was a young boy and scared of the dark. He wouldn't go to sleep and was clearly scared. After a few weeks of this I asked him if I could try tapping and demonstrated on myself. He let me do it to him and in one session he overcame his fear. He was triumphant the next morning. He told me he woke in the night and walked through the dark house to get a drink of water without any fear.
I know a few people who use it extensively. Unfortunately it's never worked for me, but I might try again. I have a few Gary Craig CD's about it at home. Dr Mercola uses and recommends it too.
Here's a You Tube video on how to tap.

himalaya
I was trained in Reiki and EFT ( tapping). You mentioned that in your country, BC is believed to be caused by heartache. If that is the case, I guess I can understand why the emotional fredom technique would see right. I would never do this as a treatment for BC, but I cant imagine it would hurt to ADD it as it can help with particular stresses.
Bets of luck to you as you ( we!) continue to try to figure all this out.

I wonder if leech therapy and tapping could save me from surgery....that could be nice!
Thank you for sharing!

Thanks for the link Joy. I had never heard of this and the YouTube video spawned a search for a many more YouTube videos (as YouTube often does!:)
I'm typically a positive person without a lot of self deprecation, but I like the idea of tapping all the spots to open the meridians.
When I do Yoga and focus on my breathing, I find it really helpful to meditate a targeted visualization on the killing of the cancer in my body. I imagine a bright neon green (I'm not sure why it's green) swirling of light of that spirals up from my toes to my pelvis, gaining momentum swirling around in my torso and in between organs...then I imagine it weaving its way through each and every rib, swirling up to my shoulders, up my neck...crossing the brain blood barrier taking a few laps up there and then plummeting down with all the cancer debris until it works its way out through the soles of my feet.
Perhaps tapping has a place for me prior to Yoga. If you can set yourself up with any phrase I think mine will be "Remove the cancer now"

About people fear to sleep in the dark---- my daughter(23) realy see different creatures in the night in our house, she sleeps in 3rd floor. My bedroom is on 2nd floor, i dont see well in the night so also i have no fear.
She sleeps with light, because if its little light or no light, she see those creatures coming from the stairs to her bedroom.
I think all is subcounciousess, all those hundreds of horror movies what she saw in her short life...i saw few and i dont wanna more. And then she see gosts and she has fear from them.
I have different attitude towards gosts, more friendly.
The same about cancer---i dont hate my lump in my breast, and no fear---i love my body and i try to friendly help my breast.
And i believe that general fear should be minimised to everybody, with tapping or some other way.
Pure love makes people more brave, my experience .

Thanks for sharing, Kat!
And what phrases do you use for tapping, Purple?
-
"Pure love makes people more brave"
I like that himalaya!
-
Yes , thank you!
I noticed that if go for pure love, then disapier attachment, gealousness, hate, fear, possesivness, selfishness, etc.
Its agreat stuff--love in high level.
Remember how Jesus said- love your enemy?
I was thinking for years--whats the nonsence, we need to beat enemy!
Now i understand that, when i got my lump. Its kind an enemy, but ---will it get better if i will be afried from that or hate that?
So i accept it as a part of my body and try to make it normal again.Disvolve.Friendly kick it out.Beging the lump to vanish away. Apologise for my breast that i made problem to her with my negative emotions. Trying to feel body in cellular level---we have about 50 trilions cells, and all of them has body , all systems just like me, so fear can only disbalance the cells, but love can heel...
What else i can do?
Drink green juices daily?
Pray?
Meditate?
Yoga?
Tapping?

Himalaya I have to agree with u on fear and add stress--I believe if feeds off of it.When I was getting diagnosed all I asked my Dr was how are my chances? And she said 50/50 so I said well I like the 50% that survices, not the other 50 and really never asked more and somehow I decided not to worry or stress over it in any way and for some strange reason I never gave it another thought. But I did do traditional methods--doesn't actually mean I'm right, just means I' not creative. LOL

I gotta say, I'm really liking this tapping! I'm doing it 1-2 times a day and am really noticing a difference! I even had a very encouraging dream last night!
As the video says, since you don't know which meridian is blocked; you go for them all. As God as my witness, after I'm done tapping I can really feel which meridian just opened up. Wild.

I was searching for different diet studies when I stumbled on a study using EFT tapping to eliminate food cravings.
Tapping Away Desire for Those Favorite Foods and Snacks
ScienceDaily (Apr. 23, 2010) - Psychological acupuncture has been shown to be successful in reducing food cravings for up to six months in people who are overweight or obese."... The technique combines gentle tapping on pressure points while focusing on particular emotions and thoughts.
Psychologist Dr Peta Stapleton, an academic title holder in Griffith University's School of Medicine, said the technique was painless and easy to learn.
Her research also showed the impact on food cravings was almost immediate and long lasting. Food cravings significantly reduced after just four, two-hour sessions and were maintained at a six-month follow-up.
"Participants in the trial were surprised by how quickly the technique works -- that it doesn't take a lot of time to eliminate food cravings they may have had for many years," Dr Stapleton said... Psychological acupuncture, also known as the emotional freedom technique (EFT), has also been used to manage clinical issues such as post traumatic stress disorder, phobias and addictions."Now I'll have to hunt for more EFT studies. Do you think it would work for obsessive researching or internet addiction?

Here's a great site with a page for research.
EFT Universe main page. I see they have a video to tap along with for food cravings on the home page.
This site shows results for all energy field studies. This page shows published studies.
Published Research Studies and Review Articles in the field of Energy Psychology
I see there is a study that shows success for relieving a skin condition I have. Now I have no excuse.
