Aw Gina, I know it is not fun. I dealt with my eyes and glaucoma but still haven't had the nerve for the dentist yet...I'm sure it will be not pretty when I go. I know my dentist told me that a lot of us have issues in our mouth because of stress. We've all certainly had our share!
-
Hey Team, Hope all of you are doing well! Thinking of you all ! Prayers & Hugs!
I Just wanted to update you all on my Oncologist appointment . I saw her today & I had her check out the knots in my thigh that have devloped & she said they are fatty tissues tumors & is not concern with them. so I had my labs done & waiting for results, But the good news is she is release me from her care as an active cancer patient to another oncologist in the survivorship Program. I am graduating !! Now I am still dealing with the tooth pain & I am on antibotics til Monday for the infection, The tooth has a fracture on the top by the gum , The tooth can't be save , Because of location of fracture & will keep cause me infections?, so I am having oral surgery next wed April 4th to have it removed & a temporary tooth place til my gum heals. anyway the worst part is it my top front tooth-ugh
Have a great weekend! xoxoxo Gina
-
Oh Gina, good news and bad news. I'm glad you graduated! I've had issues with the top teeth before. The novacaine is very tough in that area. I'd recommend gas, if you tolerate it.

Thinking Of All My January Sister! Have a BLessed Easter weekend! {{{{{hugs}}}} Gina
-
Hey Team ! I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter !
Love ya !
-
Happy Easter to all!
Kat, I am just so pissed off for you! What a couple of stupid b*tches!! I just don't understand people like that, who are they to tell you where to post. Your experience and documentation can help many in the future and I am so proud of you for what you are doing and how brave and smart and strong you are! It is awesome that you are posting your journal on here for all to keep up with. If it wasn't for people like you that are willing to try the new "alternative" medicines (which by the way, all things start off as experimental) and give it a real shot... how would we ever find things that work!?!!! I'm sorry for going on like this but I wanted you to know how I feel without calling someone out on the other thread. I just don't have the energy to waste on those twits!!! And don't you waste your energy on them either, they are so not worth it!!! Remember, we are all here for you (even if I don't post often), always thinking about you and keeping you in my prayers. You are my hero!!!! Kiss that grandbaby and stay strong!!! LOVE YOU!!!!

Hey Sisters! Sorry didn't get back to you right away. Went to a female endocrinologist. Liked her alot. Took more blood. All negative. But I still have to have a biopsy on thyroid. They say one of the multiple nodules I have is larger then it should be. So I will do that in June after the graduations I have been waiting for. Bianca May 12 from Suny Cortland, and Anthony from Mercy College on May 23. In the mean time went to the breast surgeon for a non scheduled visit. I have been having tings and pings in my non cancer breast. On night I took off my bra to get ready for bed. Putting on a cotton shirt.( Hey nothing like cotton.) I noticed right above my tattoo there was a round circle. Really red and tender. I thought at first it was a tick bite. I put cream on it from the PS that he gave me after my implants. I was so tired I thought nothing more of it. In the morning the spot was still there but much lighter in color. I went to a friend of mine who helped me while I had my drains. (Oh those freaking drains that I never could get rid of till 3 weeks after surgery.) She thought that it might be contact dermatitis. I couldn't rest so I called BS and she told me to come in for a visit. I saw BS and she thinks that its a dermatitis. But some time the implants can cause an infection. Even 2 years after surgery. If it happens again I have to see the PS again. What the hell. I know that some of us are going through bad times . I pray for all of us. It is all we can do. Have faith. Keep strong.
Kat- Keeping up with you. Sending {{{{HUGS}}}}.
Keep the Faith.
Love Donna

Wow, it sure has changed... not sure I like it. Guess we have to get used to constant change, but sometimes I wonder why they have to mess with it, but whatever. Hope everyone is doing well! Thinking of you all!

Where's the like button Paula? lol
Have a great day ladies!

Well, this is a nice "howdy-do".....ugh. Being on BCO is like being on Facebook....it's not staying the same. grrr. Of course, this is from the person who HATES change.... You all on FB warned us, so I had to come check it out. Had a hard time finding US, though...for some reason, BCO had kicked this group off of my "favorites"....who knows why? It's been on my favorites list from the get-go!
We're down to NINE (9)...count 'em....1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 more days with the kiddos now......most of my class I will miss terribly, but a few of my little stinkers, well, um, how do I put this nicely???? I'm ready for a vacation
It's been a rough month physically for me....bronchitis, sinusitis, pneumonia....had a full-blown asthma attack at school (had never had one before).....I've missed quite a few days this past month....had to go to pulmonary specialist yesterday. AFter being put through the wringer, actually my LUNGS being put through the wringer, found out I have asthma AND COPD......and yes, you can have COPD without ever having smoked or been around second-hand smoke. fun, fun.....NOT!
But, it could be so much worse....so I'm not complaining....really!
I had good subs in my room, and it gave me needed time to rest at home....
Rachel came home from her first semester away at college....all A's. Oldest son continued to flunk out of colleg (despite being National Merit Finalist and valedictorian). Youngest son is now making all A's.
So, it's been an interesting year all the way around....
And I have ALL of you!
Praying for and thinking of you all ALWAYS! even when I'm not on here....
well, back to the papers and grades....SO much to get done in these last ten days (they have nine, I have one more after that IF I can get all I'm required to do in that extra day...which will be a miracle if I do!)
blessings and love....robin
-
Of course WE are not the same either. I think of you all often and remember you in my prayers.
-
Good point Paula...we have changed and evolved! I hope you are doing well!
Robin, maybe over summer vacation, you can try a yoga class. It really stretches your rib cage open and improves lung capacity. Learning to breathe and being conscious of your breath does amazing things!
I hope everyone has a great day and weekend; My mom is coming in from Canada this weekend (eh?) so it will be nice, yet chaotic to have her here. I think I'm approaching this Mother's Day in a calmer, better place.
I told my husband...my cancer treatment consists of: Not working, daily naps, yoga 3-5x a week, hot stone massages, saunas and babysitting the sweetest baby ever. How awesome is this?
xoxo
Love you all!
Kat -
Oh Kat, it sounds wonderful to me! I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day! You certainly deserve it!
It is a difficult one for us since my MIL passed away a few weeks ago. DH is there helping his dad with things. I was very closer to her.

Good Morning Team! Think about you night and day! Hope everyone is well! Life gets busy but it does not mean that you are not on my mind. Having a thyroidectomy (right lobe) on Monday morning. Too many nodules and biopsy was not clear. Does it ever end? I will report on Tuesday what the outcome is. They say breastcancer doesn't go to the thyroid. Keeping my fingers crossed. In the mean time everyone feel well and enjoy your weekend.

((((GINA))))) My thoughts are with you. Our bestfriends.... they are there for us when we need them. Hugs and strengh. My neighbors dog Bo was accidently let out of his house by the painters and we've been looking for him since noon yesterday. State troopers found him on an exit of the thruway this morning at 7:30. Thank goodness he is ok. Thinking of you at this time.
