Anyone else not respond to a chemo?

Hi all! I found out a couple weeks ago that my cancer started growing again despite being on chemo. That was my 4th set of chemo, the other three had worked to some extent. So now I'm waiting for a clinical trial and hoping it will respond again. Has anyone else not responded to one kind of chemo but then found something else that worked?

    My tumors initially appeared to respond to chemo but then grew between treatments. After surgery and radiation I started a PARP clinical trial. I did not get the PARP but I did get 4 additional treatments of Cisplatin. My last dose of Cisplatin was October, 2011 and I have had no reoccurance so far. Giving chemo before surgery means more and more of us will know if the treatments are working on our tumors and hopefully all these clinical trials will help our docs figure out what to do with those of us who do not have a complete response to chemo.

    I am trying to get on a PARP trial right now just waiting to hear back if they have any openings.
