HER2+ Path Report - -Second Opinion on Path -Guidelines Used

Been reading alot about Her2+ tests (maybe too much!) and how labs use different methods of testing HER2+. Has anyone requested a second opinion on path report? Path report came back Her2 positive.

Path report says evaluation performed according to guidelines issued by CAP/ASCO. Are there other guidelines? Should I request a second opionion on path report from another lab or am I overthinking this?

Look like immunohistochemical study was performed and says Ventana Pathway Her2neu/4B5 ultraview DAB detection - not sure what this means.

Dont see anything about FISH test? Is this important?

Here are the different methods of Her2 testing along with a full explanation of Her2 status. I believe that the rationale for a second testing is if the first result is equivocal. If there is a definitive result I don't think there would be a need to re-test. If the result is equivocal they usually use a different test, as opposed to re-testing using the same modality.
