I came to this site through a search for a stereotactic biopsy and have now learned so much more than I ever thought I would know! I have also found some wonderfully supportive friends that are supporting me through this journey! I am waiting for biopsy results but this site has given me the knowledge that an empowered and knowledgeable individual can conquer all.
Thank you BreastCancer.org

I'm new to this experience. I do best when I have every molecule of information I can find…the best source has been breastcancer.org. So far my treatments have been good and successful, but I'm apprehensive about starting radiation on Monday. After reading what so many women are going through though...I don't want to whine...

sorry folks...i guess i'm pushing the wrong buttons to post/delete..here's another try.
I'm new to this experience. I do best when I have every molecule of information I can find…the best source has been BCO. So far my treatments have been good and successful, but I'm apprehensive about starting radiation on Monday. After reading what so many women are going through though...I don't want to whine...

BCO has been an awesome place to come for a better understanding of this disease and what one faces when diagnosed with bc. I had no idea so many women were getting bc, and so young!
I was able to get a lot of my questions answered on this site, and it has kept me calm through this challenge. I still haven't received my complete diagnosis, but as I progress slowly through the process, I know that I can come here for support and comfort.

Hi everyone
I've been reading the radiation conversations and feel a little better about going for my first treatment tomorrow. I'm already tattooed, folded and ready for the "dry run". I will be thinking of you Kaara and remembering how nervewracking it was to wait for test results. I hope you're in for an easy time.

I have been looking around here all day. First time on this site. I already feel less alone. I work fultime and feel very alone sometimes as I also live alone. After a few years I still have questions and I think this forum will be very helpful.

2 lines? Hardly. Breast cancer diagnoses (2) have resulted in opportunities to
- think for myself
- learn how to do research
- advocate for myself (& others)
- realize we all make choices based on what we know at the time
- realize we are all doing what we think is "right' or we'd be doing something else (Dale Carnage)
- appreciating life!!! mine and others
- being given an opportunity to share information and educate others in "choice" vs. blindly following anyone's perferences or recommendations
- being grateful for breastcancer.org web site (unavailable 15 years ago because I did not own a computer, even if the site was available)
- knowing there is no "perfect" choice; making a choice and never looking back (yet I continually monitor and verify information for future choices)
- being immensely grateful for being-supported-in-love by friends, family, and perfect strangers (breastcancer.org)
- becoming aware of CaringBridge.org's role in communication/moral support
- living in a time, in the USA, with freedom of information and availabiltiy to find it!
- Probably more, will start adding to my "blessing book" list as thoughts come to mind

- With appreciation, Colorado Morning Glory

Hi , I was newly diagnosied with stage 2 cancer this week. I ,m glad I found this site with my daughters help. It helps me understand that I can share my feelings that I am feeling. I know that God will carry me though but, I felt I slipped yesterday, very upset and felt out of control. I am currently waiting for approvable for an MRI then I will be having an lumpectomy, followed by 6 weeks of radiation. I am a C.N.A. at a hospital in my city and I take care of these cancer gals that come in so I know about what goes on with the care. I have helped shower them when they were crying and and couldn,t look at themselves. Anyways, I am thankful to know that I have found a place that I can share how I feel. howieswife
