Easy feedback: who wants the old forum back?

With reservations, I will oveturn my previous response and say no. Still concerned about privacy issues.
-
YES. You don't know what you got till it's gone!!

NO NO NO Just need this one tweaked. It'll be fine when we've got used to it.
-
No. It's been a rough transition, but it's getting easier. The tweeks are helping a lot.

Bump (I already gave my vote.)

No. I've had no problems with the new format and have experienced none of the issues desribed. Not sure why, but I'm perfectly find with the new format.
-
No. Like the way this works. Easy to read and post. Way nicer on smart phones and iPads. Much faster now. Glitches being fixed.

5 minutes is all I can stand - out of here

Yes.

No!
When I first joined after my diagnosis, I found the layout to be clunky and outdated. It's still not as nice as the other forums I belong to, but it's a little better (and faster) now.
It would be beyond awesome if they'd switch to, say, vBulletin, which is a really nice forum software, but it's so much nicer now than it was. -
Nope.

I have given it several days before coming to a final conclusion---Ive gotten used to it on my laptop and it IS much much easier to use on my smartphone. VERY user friendly with that.
And by how frequently people are still posting, I'm guessing volume hasnt gone down much. So there are grumbles, but not a mass exodus of people from the boards.....

Yes!

No, but I don't want this one either. LOL.
If a gun is to my head, I choose the old one.
-
Yes (with that said...the new one has improved it's speed problem. Just hate the glare. Too much white or light gray.) Also miss under profile where you were last to check on threads you posted on. The old one felt warm and friendly.

I have a question that may have already been answered.
Is getting the new forum back even an option? Im guessing BCO has contracted with a wed design(er) company so that even if people wanted the old style back, it's not going to happen?
Has BCO been clear one way or the other, as to what options, if any, are available?

Marie, the Mods posted this on their technical glitches thread yesterday:
"Well, sad as it is for some, we really can't bring back our "old boards". We can only make our new boards better, more functional, and more to your liking. Backstage we are working on tons of suggestions, e.g. changing around colors, helping folks to better navigate; switching up our active topics, ......... We are listening to you on how to best make the new version of the boards work best for your needs. We need to move forward, and are eager to hear your constructive suggestions on what is working, and what isn't. Going completely back is not an option. So, if you can provide concrete suggestions, we can them, and potentially implement. Thank you."

Thanks...
That is pretty much what I suspected.
Hopefully that will at least make it clear for anyone who is holding on to some hope that the old boards will come back.
Since they wont, just gonna have to find a way of adjusting to the new reality and make it better as much is possible.
