A Light Bulb Moment In Cancer Research

A family member who has been in cancer research for 25+ years just sent me this article with the comment that she feels this is truly a monumental finding   http://consumer.healthday.com/Article.asp?AID=664591

Although the research is primarily on melanoma, as explained, it has identified a genetic link between some melanomas and breast cancer, which, "...helps lay the groundwork for a new definition of cancer that includes the genetic makeup of a tumor as well as the specific organ site."

Let's hope & pray that this is a major breakthrough for all of us!
