    BlueCowgirl,  I just saw this.  I'm not sure how I missed your great news, but I'm so happy you have arthritis. (How weird is that?) Well, you know what I mean.  Yea!!!

    Resurrecting this post from so long ago to let you all know that Neurontin (Gabapentin) has drastically changed my pain level. Apparenly a lot of it was nerve pain. If you are suffering from the same symptoms, it's definitely worth asking your doctor about - is has totally changed my quality of life, and no more narcotics, yeah!

    Day, so sorry you had such a bad experience with gabapentin. A friend of mine with MS also had horrid side effects. It's certainly not a good drug for everyone...But it's been wonderful for me.

    Blue: I finished chemo in Sept 2011, have had right leg pain every since.  I have read on here about other gals who have had same thing. Chemo is nasty and effects a lot. My shin and knee both hurt. My onc is not concernced as it would rare for bc to met below the pelvic area. I had a bone scan this past Feb, nothing showed up.  I have been having some pain near my hip but think it is because my PS released me to start riding again and that is exactly what I have been doing.  Enjoy your horse I know I am!!!
