Namaste

Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to You in this time of illness.
O dearest Comforter of the Troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with Your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden.


Dear God, we place our worries in Your Hands. We place our sick under Your care and humbly ask that You restore Your servant to health again.
Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge Your Holy will and know that whatsoever You do, You do for the love of us.

Amen.

Lord Jesus, I see in Your Word that when You saw the afflicted You had compassion for them and healed them.
Forgive me Lord for my lack of compassion that You have towards us.
Lord teach me to have the compassion I need to pray for these afflicted . That my prayers too will move in the heart of our Father and grant us these petitions before Him for healing of Your people.

Amen.

In the shelter of His arms,

I call upon you, O Lord,
and in the morning you hear me.
In the morning I offer
you my prayer,
watching and waiting.
I lift my heart to you, O Lord,
to be strengthened for this day.
Be with me in all I do, my God;

Dear Lord, we are frail and finite creatures whose years
are numbered yet we live on with a bit of abandon and lots of hope.

Then something can come our way which unbalances our systems, disrupts our patterns and our lives, and we become frightened, confused and angry.

But it's Your presence, Your love, Your healing power, Your peace which makes it possible for us to work through and cope with whatever might come our way or become our lot. Then we can offer up our pain, in prayer, for someone else who is hurting more and we can use our fear as a reminder that we really have nothing to fear!

We know that You are always at our side and on our side, and
that literally nothing, however bad it might seem at the moment, can ever separate us from You or from those we love. Amen
