One Thing I Don't Like About New Fourum Format
When I come to my Stage III forum I don't get a view of all the topics. I have to Scroll Down too Far! This does not feel like my familiar place anymore. Print too small also. And I don't like the blank left side of the screen. Any possibility of changing back to the old way?

I know some of the changes were to make it more "mobile app" friendly - so the white space may be neccesary.
-
Not thrilled with the new BCO either Barb
-
I agree barb!!! This feels wierd............. Seems stupid but, change even little ones can get you rattled.....

Yup, weird, but it is what it is right? Let's not sweat the small stuff. A bit annoying it is, but we can deal with it. After all, we've all just kicked cancer's ass. This shit ain't nothin in my mind!

I'm totally loathing this new format. Yuk!
-
The text is not small for me, but enormous. And there is no white space on the left, but areas to click on. I would like to see a more obvious button to get to the forums. I am not happy with it either, but as I am on facebook, I will be ok once I can figure everything out. It is the change we really don't like. I'm just happy my small avatar didn't turn into a gigantic avatar that shows every pore....but where did my favorite members go?....I will figure it out. It is not user friendly at the moment but that is because the change is a shock. I have been trying not to come on here as much and this is going to really help me!!!

Now I am going to test to see if when I delete a post, it actually deletes and doesn't SAY deleted post. That would be nice.....
-
No like! I just tested the delete feature to see if I could delete a post and not have to see the above line anymore. Still there. Never liked it. It would have been nice to change a delete into an actual official delete!
-
Don't like it either... The print is really small on my computer--unless I'm typing a message, and then it's huge. Gives me such a headache after just a short time on the pages. Miss the old format, too! Wish we could go back...
-
I don't like it either. It's hard to see the various threads. It is easier to read on my iPhone But, the trade off is not worth it

Hey All,
We are very interested in learning what you are seeing in terms of colors. We actually went from a white background to a cream. We softened the colors, we thought. And interestingly on my computer, it is kinder on my eyes. But we want to understand in detail what you are actually seeing. We need to figure out if different browsers have different results (though we did test this prior to launch). Hmmmm...
Also, we could work with the deletion issue (No like! I just tested the delete feature to see if I could delete a post and not have to see the above line anymore. Still there. Never liked it. It would have been nice to change a delete into an actual official delete! ). We'll put this on the list!
We are still playing with font size, and ability to enlarge!! Stay tuned.

Got to agree. I don't like it. The old board was much easier to see what was going on in a broad sense across all BCO's boards. It also allowed me to more easily screen places that I shouldn't be going to -- some posts make me more anxious than others and I need to stay away from them. I wish they were more sensitive to that. :-(

I don't like it either. You can't see all the topics to choose from. Its too limiting. Please go back to what it was, because it works and flows a lot better than this.
-
The box you type in is white, but not as stark white as it was before, the background where the posted messages appear seems to be a gray color in IE.
The colors look the same in Google Chrome.
Thank you for making the font bigger in the message box - it's easier to make sure I've spelled things correctly.
You guys have really gone above and beyond to try and address everyone's complaints.
-
Thank you. So , we'll work on the color for everyone, tomorrow. Sorry it is hurting your eyes!

My screen is the same color as SherriG....the font size is okay, but all the blank space on the left and the lack of being able to seeing all the topics is annoying as the others have said....I for one don't use a smart phone, ipad or whatever so I only come to bco on my regular size laptop...I think its great to want to accomodate these devices, but since 75% of the users still use full size computers, it seems a lot to sacrifice for a few......I miss the old boards...

Again, thank you for your support!
We just started a new topic in this forum, specifically for glitches, errors, bad viewing experiences, etc.
http://community.breastcancer.org/forum/93/topic/787232
For those who need to express their frustrations, there are plenty of topics that have been started (like this one). Please reserve the new topic for reports that we can keep track of, and fix. That way we can also let you know what we've been able to get to and what is causing US frustration.
Thanks so much!

Such a well-parsed post from our Mods! So nice to have permission and direction re our "need to express [our] frustration". I don't NEED to express frustration....I need this Massive Mistake corrected. And please stop thanking us for our support. You don't have the support of most of the active members on this issue; you just bulldoze on with blinders on and ears full of cotton. BTW, I've been on my IPad today...mobile...and can say the visuals are not the issue for me. The new format totally sucks! Since we have to learn a new format now, we need a thread to recommend alternative support sites that are user-friendly with Mods who respect their members...all their members.

Background seems whitish-gray and a bit bright. Change, it's a tough one, isn't it? Mods, thanks for working on the bugs (haha, laughing at my little punny) and issues that always crop up with a change in format.
-
YIKES!? Was not sure I was on the right page. Not liking the new format, no one likes change though, well most people don't. Why mess with a good thing? It's like I finally find a good brand of chips, (Veggie chips) at the grocery store and then they take them away?? Sigh....
-
Change is hard....color doesn't bother me like the other stuff, the "back to top" button doesn't work for me and the empty "ad" space is weird (if that's what it will become). Being able to add the entire III forum to my fav's would be nice, I agree SherriG.
-
Why couldn't they leave well enough alone? Format is too large and when I type it's small fonts. If I have to keep scrolling up or down just to see topics, that will hurt my carpal tunnel wrists even more... Just saying....
