Hey everyone,

I am going in for surgury tomorrow to have a polyp removed from my uterus...........

The Dr. thinks it's benign,  but I feel so wigged out!!!! I have already had a biopsy on my uterus, and a hyposcopy. They both hurt!!!! I am on my way to do my pre op, the doc has to give me a shot in cervix for tomorrow...... I am so over this,  I am so anxious, could it be the big C ??? I feel so bad for the kids , I had to send them to grandma and grampas for a couple days.. They love them, but, I think it reminds them of a very long hard time when they went away alot due to chemo.....Whats wrong with me, you would think I would be used to all of this by now right?? The constent invasive testing.. I need to turn this around and be grateful that they watch me close. I am really having a hard time today.....sorry guys but, I know you really understand................hope all are staying strong, i will let you know how surgury goes... Please, send me good prayers and thoughts that there is nothing lurking!!!!

Love you all..............

Steph

I'm really sorry you're struggling today.  I really understand about being "procedured out".  It truly is most likely benign.  I'm feeling the same way about LCIS after having such a rough time with ovarian tumor surgery last year.  Hang in there and hugs.

Hoping it's benign!  On the lighter side, before my hysteroscopy,  the gyn sent in a prescription for a couple of pills to be inserted vaginally to soften the cervix, and when I stepped up to the pharmacy counter, the pharmacist told me to take them with food!!  His face got all red when I asked him where to insert the food...I know him on a personal level...we both laughed.  I DO know what you mean about invasive tests, though.  I am not looking forward to a second cystoscopy or any test ending in "oscopy"...there are just places cameras were not meant to go!  Good luck and I really hope it will be okay!

Over the last couple of months I have noticed the following symptoms:

Abdominal pressure, fullness, swelling or bloatingPelvic discomfort or painPersistent indigestion, gas or nauseaChanges in bowel habits, such as constipationChanges in bladder habits, including a frequent need to urinateLoss of appetite or quickly feeling fullIncreased abdominal girth or clothes fitting tighter around your waistA persistent lack of energyLow back pain

I am very concerned.  had metastasis to their ovaries from stage 3C? And did you have these symptoms beforehand. I have my scans coming up in two days. I am so scared.

    Hi srb162,

have the ca-125 test, it will tell you right away if anything is going on with your ovaries..... I would also consider having them removed.. Because of your ER pos statis..... Are you already post menopause?????? Call your DR. put your mind at ease..

You are in my prayers......also are you BRCA POS????

    Hello everyone,

I wanted to let you guys know about some of my scans. CT's were ok, bone density showed osteopenia. I had my bone scan today, a little concerned. I peeked at the photos while it was being done. My whole pelvic area was lit up like a white Christmas tree!! I was pretty ill the last time I had one so I don't remember how it looked then. My doctors appointment is on Monday and I will get my CA-125 results then, but it seems like I am heading down that long hard road again. Any thoughts? What else could make the pictures so bright!!!!! Un@&#%ingbelievable!

I'm so sorry that your having a rough weekend of waiting.  I wish I could give you some advice but my only bone scan was back when I was dx'ed and I really don't remember what it looked like.  Hopefully it's related to the osteopenia.  Best wishes.
