Unfortunately, I do not like change and am certainly not up to date with all fancy ipads, blackberrys, etc. I prefer things simple. I am not happy with all this change. Sorry, I had to get this off my mind.

BCO changed their format today. Very confusing I find!
-
not you, they seem to have decided to update the boards...I would wait a bit till it gets comfie
-
-
This new format sucks - hope it's temporary. Go backto the other!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought it was just my new iPad making the format look different. Meh.
-
this is going to take some getting use to for me
-
nice pic!! I dont like changes...but what can we do!
-
Please Moderators: A little too complicated. We are not kids who understand this.... If it ain't broken, don't fix it. Please go back to simpler times.
Thank you.

I give up.... I tried pasting; I tried inserting a photo with a URL. Here's a link to a Snapfish album with a few photos - if you don't have an account, you'll just have to register, but it's free. I have a Mac - can anyone tell me how to go about posting photos? I also am not too crazy about the new format.

Hey everyone,
Already started looking at restaurants. Someone asked that we not have a seafood restaurant and quite a number are dinner only. I've been searching Yelp- Farrell's Stout and Ale is an Irish-themed place that has a lunch with broad selection and also, what sounds good to me, private rooms for a party - or so the website says. Any suggestions?
-
sounds good to me..thanks for doing this!
-
Rachel, I'm going to try to post your photo.
Well would you look at that!
-
OK, looked at the menu for Farrell's Stout & Steak, and being a non-meat / non-seafood eater, I did find things that looked good there. Thanks for getting this going!
-
Ok - quick q. Anyone interested or available for a weekday beach excursion? I am looking at Tuesday or Wednesday July 17 or 18. Otherwise, Saturday or Sunday July 21 or 22. I know that we will have trouble getting complete consensus - but an idea of who would be interested in when would help me set it up.
-
I'm good for Wednesday, July 18. Can't commit for either weekend date yet, though.
-
I like Wednesday July 18th. Tho any day will prob be ok
-
I'll have to sit this one out - I'm having my exchange surgery on July 16. You'll just have to wait to see my fabulous new boobies the next time!
-
Out of town that week...
-
As of now, I have no clue as to any scheduling. Have to go to nuclear medicine for a bone scan for something that bs found in good boob. I am sure it is nothing, but I will keep the date opened anyway. I will mark it is my calendar, cause I have nothing now. Again, trying to post a pic, having difficulties. Would thisbe for a day? I have never stayed down by the shore except for AC, but it can always be worked out. Any restaurant works for me, even in a fish house I can find some meat or veggie dish.
Again, had such a good time on Sunday.
Love to all and hugs,
-
well I confess to a problem, 4 weeks vacation, no money for a biggie so using time in bits and pieces!
means a day at the beach is a deal
-
Weekdays won't work for me, and July is going to be a bit hectic in general. My chemo thread sisters are looking to get together for a weekend at the end of the month. But if I miss this one, I'll look forward to another at a later date.
Esther - You just cut and pasted the photo? Boy, sometimes I really dislike Macs... That's the only thing I can think of causing a problem, and I've had a few with this site.
-
Rachel, I downloaded from FB onto my computer, uploaded to photobucket, then pasted the link into the image box. It showed up blank after I pasted it from the dialog box, but once I hit ENTER, it appeared. A reasonable enough work-around.
-
During the week is out for me. I have to be stingy with the days I take off from work because of Dr appts and treatments and FMLA limits.
But don't plan around me. If you can set something up I'll see if I can make it.
Sandy - has anything come of the LBBC dress for mast idea? Do you need any help with that? -
Here's what I have so far
preference July 18 - Candie and Esther
unable to attend either that week or in the middle of the week - Reesie, Betsy, Joan, Rachel
open: Iris
not sure: Ronna
Looking at the breakdown in those able to come versus not able - I'm thinking of switching to another week and a weekend. How's June 24 everyone? It also pushes the date earlier.
Reesie: I'm afraid I wound up shelving the idea for a fashion show. I still think it's a good one, but it would be a fair amount of work, and I was worried that not enough people were interested. I think that you were the only one coming to the meeting. I'm also in the process of trying to start up my private practice as an attorney after losing my job as a per diem public defender, so I was concerned about the time.
-
June 24th is great for me!
-
Boo... not good for me...
-
Open at the moment, but summer is a hard time to plan ahead.
-
Put me down for July 18th as well. Interesting as that is the only week that will work for me if we do midweek. Otherwise I can only do a Saturday - not my favorite day to travel to the Jersey shore. (edit to add - but I will make the trip if a Saturday is decided)
