mentioned LCIS on "Grey's Anatomy"

tonight during the episode where the residents are taking their oral exams, how to manage LCIS was one of the questions for Dr. Karev.  First, he started to say he would do nipple sparing mastectomies "with an inframammary incision", the said "Wait, did you say LCIS? Is this a trick question? Then no, I would follow with another mammogram...."  Interesting the way they wrote it into the script like that; the controversy continues ever on......

 (I know it's only TV, but I really was hoping to hear some new definitive solution!!!!

    I saw the episode too and thought it was interesting that they said LCIS.  I was surprised when Karev gave his answer and then went back on it when he realized that is was LCIS.  I was also hoping that there would be some novel solution to this diagnosis.  Oh well...........

    I saw that too. As someone who has had a PBM for LCIS, I thought the older docs were jerks =)
