John Edwards. Lowest of the low

I read the account of Elizabeth Edwards baring her chest and it makes me very sad.  I am so sorry that the person who was suppose to love and support her was such a $h*t.

He is a dis-cress to all human kind.......

What a selfish sleeze bag!!!  The humilation he inflicted on Elizabeth is hard to comprehend.

o - and hunter ain't such a bad lowlife either.

I cannot imagine the depravity... and to think he was running for our president.  he probably won't go to prison but he should

It really bothers me that John and Elizabeth's eldest daughter is there by her father's side every day at the trial.  To me that seems like it's a slap in the face to Elizabeth.  That's not fair though... who knows, John was with Elizabeth when she died and maybe she asked their daughter to support him through this. Still, it really bothers me.

I think - despite what I think of him - that it would be too difficult for the daughter to have to choose between her parents.  She's already lost one and, now, stands to lose another, poor girl.  Despite what he's done, he's still her father and she, probably, still loves him very much.

Tough call for anyone.

He is a narcisstic pig, who only cares about himself.  Whatever the outcome of the trial, the world knows that now.

I feel sorry for his daughters. 

Can't wait to see him in prison fatigue....I wonder if they will have to put him in solitary for security reasons...a "pretty boy" like that could probably get seriously messed up in the general population.

I also feel uncomfortable when I see women standing publicly by men who have done them wrong and publicly humiliated them. It's ok to stand by him privately or to refrain from criticizing him but this public show is so unbecoming. I hope the younger Edwards children have more spunk and self-respect and realize that their father is a narcissist who care more about how he looks than how bloody stupid his daughter looks walking next to him. I hope Cate's mother never asked her to prostitute herself like that. Otherwise, public humilliation will be brought down from generation to generation. 

Anyway, this situation is making me so "crabby" that I think I will press send here. :-)

You know, I had the pleasure of meeting Hillary Clinton shortly after the Jenifer Flowers debacle. My friend begged me to go to a meeting where she was speaking. They NEEDED an audience. Warm bodies to show Clinton wasn't down and out. So I went. We had to move up closer to the stage so the camera would see all the seats full. Anyway, I wasn't disappointed when she spoke. Brilliant woman,IMHO. What she was doing with him was beyond me! Why she stayed with him was beyond me! After the Lewinsky debacle, I lost whatever little respect I had left for her BECAUSE SHE WAS THE MOTHER OF A DAUGHTER AND OWED HER DAUGHTER BETTER.


I read Dina McGreevey's book. Don't get me started with her ex-husband... The former governor of New Jersey. I really wish her and her daughter well! And Spitzer, in my home state....Oy! THE CHILDREN! They are owed better from these selfish people!
