Tracey YOU ROCK! Thank you for all your hard work!
-
Thank you Tracey! I know you're working to get this squared away.... ((((HUG))))
-
Hurray! This year I will finally be able to attend! I live in Ketchikan Alaska and there is no support group here. I am really loving forward to meeting other 'thrivers'. Any one need a roomate? Let me know!
-
YAY Tracey! You're the best! Don't worry about the other hotel, wherever we go, we're going to have a blast! I'm sure we all appreciate the hard work and effort you put in to making this weekend special.
Terri
-
Hi Laceyk! I am so glad you will be able to join us this year! I know you have wanted to join us in the past, and it just hasn't worked out. Once Tracey finalizes the hotel arrangements, she will be able to find a roomie/roomies for you, if you ask her. I look forward to meeting you!
Diane (from Nashville, TN, not Nevada!)
-
Tracy, thank you for your hard work. The hotel you choose will be perfect for us TA TA's.
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Hello beautiful Ladies:
I have a brief update. Tracey does have a hotel for the group, centrally located and a good rate. She will post the details once all contracts are signed by the hotel and Tracey.
Thank you for your patience and understanding and I cannot wait to see you all in Vegas.
Hugs
G.
ps. Jancie I am ready with your tiara...you will see.
-
I'm thinking this might be the year of the tiaras!
-
I second that!!
-
Everyone wearing Tiaras - what a hoot that would be! Mine has been sitting on my dresser for the last year on top of my jewelry box.
-
Hey ladies just wanted to pop in and say hello to all the oldies and newbies.. I hope all is going well for everyone and if it's not right now it will be.. We stick together and I pray for each and everyone of you each night! I am now DONE all my surgeries and only have my tattoos to get done WOOOOHOOO! I will get them soon but really am in not too much of a rush. Last surgery was about 4 months ago so I'm thinkin I will get them in June or July! Hopefully I can make Vegas work for me this year.. I just have to plan things out..

-
Hey TA TA'S,
got some news to share here & then post on our FB site & then on my caringbridge site. #38 surgery is set for May 21st. Having it done here in my home town, yes it will be complicated. Have to get cut opened in 2 places for more mesh, still no answer for the fever. Looking at just a few days of stay. As I mentioned to all of you on FB site, if this doesn't get the job fixed once & for all....taking you all up on the Mayo Clinic offer!!!
Many Many Thanx for all the hard work put into the 4th TA TA Sisterhood reunion!! I know it's hard work....mark your calendars girls....only 154 days left WAHOOOOOOOOOO!!
Next, it is so hard to tell you all this, after talking to my new surgeon, I will not be able to make this reunion or any other reunion in Vegas.
On both reunions I came home sick and had major Asthma problems due to all the cigarette smoke, even though I still did my breathing machine & inhalers(went thru 5 on the 2nd reunion) Due to all the tummy & Hernia surgeries I've had, I'm at high risk of getting another just from a cough or sneeze-I just can't take that chance with my health anymore. Kinda getting tired of all these surgeries & the downtime from healing. As much as I love ya all, really don't want to wear a mask the entire trip & they aren't always that helpful. So...with a deep saddened Heart, I'll be there in SPIRIT & of course do the countdown(Can't give that up LOL)Newbies....this is the best group of ladies you will ever meet & now you are part of the best SISTERHOOD there is!!
Take care Chow GOD BLESS
((HUGS)) XOXO Susie -
Susie, I'm so sorry to hear that you won't be able to come to the reunions anymore. Your spirit is like a shining light.... I know what you mean about the asthma since I have asthma too although I'm not affected by it as much as you are. Your health comes first girl, take care of yourself. Heal your body, get strong, build up your immune system. Without a doubt, we'll all be missing you but it's too sad right now to think that we'll never be able to see you again. Maybe once your health is all under control, you'll reconsider joining us maybe next year.....
Wishing you a ton of good wishes for your upcoming surgery and also that your surgery count stops at #38!!
Love ya,
Terri
-
Susie, I agree with all Terri has said. I will miss you this year and hope you maybe able to join us some other time. I wish you a speedy recovery and hope that # 38 is the last and final one for you.
On another note, thanks for keeping the count down going.
Love you all,
Hugs, Cherly
-
p.s. I can not spell my name tonight. HA HA.
It is Cheryl
-
Hey SUSIE!! ((((HUGS)))) I'm sooooo sorry that you wnot be joining us! You are the countdown queen!!
Take care of your health. That has to come first. We'll miss you

You guys, I am looking at my calendar...can I join in if I can make it? I would so love to meet you all. I haven't been on the board lately, but this group has meant the world to me over the past 18 months or so. I've been referring every newly diagnosed woman I know (and sadly, there are a few!) because this board has been so helpful.
♥
-
CityKitty - of course you can come! We would love to have you.
Hopefully we will get the hotel information pretty soon. Then you can just post if you need a roomate and join in with someone else. The first year I went - I roomed with 3 other girls that I had never met before. I just posted that I wanted to be in a room with some other girls and it all worked out.
If you prefer you can room by yourself - it is all up to you.
-
Just booked my flight! Price dropped to what I paid last year so I'm good with it. Can't wait!!!
-
Hi all,
Great news to share. My step daughter became engaged over last weekend. Her fiance was very romantic and is a great guy.
Can't wait to see all in VEGAS.
Hugs, Cheryl
-
Hey..I haven't been on here for a long time...but what a surprise when I logged on and found you on the site. Welcome!
-
Congrats to your step-daughter! Miss you!
-
What days are everyone flying in and out? Sorry if it's in the thread somewhere, I haven't caught up with it yet.
-
CityKitty - The weekend's events start Friday around 6 pm. However, a large group of us are arriving on Thursday and there is a pre-party planned. Most of us fly back out on Monday.
I have to leave but wanted to drop a short note. Oh and I might add you might want to leave afternoon on Monday as Sunday night we stay up REALLY LATE! It is hard to get up on Monday to leave. I never fly out until at least 2:30 pm so that I can sleep as long as possible.
-
Hi Everyone. So any word on a host hotel yet? I can't wait til Vegas!!
Teresa
-
Teresa - haven't heard a word on the hotel. I know Tracey is working her arse off trying to get everything finalized.
Say hello to Cat for me!
-
Jancie -- Thanks for the reply! Good to know what to expect! I'm on the East Coast, and it takes all day to fly here even if you leave early in the morning. So the info you provided definitely will help me figure out my plan!
-
Hey ladies!
Just wanted to update you on the hotel. My hotel rep apologized today for the slowness in the auditing dept getting us uploaded in the system! He has assured me our rooms are safe and it should be this week that I can pass booking info to you. So sorry it's taking so long but when I post I want accurate info and I do NOT want another Paris hotel fiasco! I think you will all be pleased with the hotel and the price. I can tell you it is more than what We were suppose to be paying at Paris but its MUCH less than the nearly $200 a night room with Mirage. So I will be updating again later this week! Thanks SO much for your patience trust me when I say this has not been an easy task but I am happy to do it!
Luv ya ladies!!
Tracey -
Thanks for your hard work Tracy! You are a doll!
-
Thank you Tracy
