Study: Trying on Swimsuits Makes Women Anxious, Depressed

Options

Just thought I'd liven things up a bit.   For those who'd like to read the whole article -- and it is a news article reporting study results -- here it is:  http://www.livescience.com/19842-swimsuit-body-image.html

All together, now:  "DUH!"

Of course, the swimsuit-buying process is that much more challenging for those of us who are lopsided because of BC surgery.  (That's my attempt to make the subject relevant.)  I'm completely flat on one side and 36-A/B on the other, with a bottom that is disproportionately larger (unfortunately).  So forget about tank suits, or two-piece suits where both pieces are sized together and must be purchased as a set.  (Buy two sets?)

Tankinis, perhaps?... but they remind me of the flapper suits of the 1920's, or of little old ladies.  Which I am, of course.  <sigh>

[ETA:  dang it.  Busted link.  I hate when that happens.  I'll work on it...  Okay, I tried a different source.  Let's see if it works this time.]
