Definitely interested in what you find out shelley. I still have to hook up with a good nutritionist. I have just been so busy since going back to work. First OT the first week back all week. Then tests and doctor appts every day this week. See the MO to find out the results of the tests Monday, then I need to find a Nutritionist and a LE Physical Therapist. I dont' think I have LE yet, but I need to find out how to do the massage and exercises to prevent it.

    dunesleeper...

you're very wise to go see a LE therapist before anything happens. Sadly I was told by my surgeon, her patients like me don't get lymphedema.  I really thought I was being careful but  6 months after surgery my arm just swelled up. Then I was able to get a referral to PT and get a compression sleeve, but my arm has never gone back to its normal size.  I wish I had insisted on seeing someone earlier so I could have at least had the sleeve. It might have prevented my arm from getting as big.

Sorry that happened to you lee.I do so hope I can avoid LE. I just don't think I have the strength to deal with it. Thank you for your encouragement.

    Timothy ... thank you :)

I find law very interesting these days ... it's very complicated.  Do you have any recommended resources for work concerns besides the standard (eeoc, ada, disability...ect) - something that may be more resourceful and educational for the common gal like me?

fuzzylemon, I don't have any knowledge in that area.  As well, I'm in Canada, and the laws and systems are quite likely very different.  In our country, those matters are provincial, and vary from province to province.  I wish I could help.  Everything in law tends to be very specialized these days.  It just isn't practical to keep up to date with work in all matters.
