I am less than a month post 6weeks of left breast rads with boost. My energy level is 85% or more and the rsdiation "burns" which had been significant and painful are 90% healed. I am vrry happy with my lumpectomy plus rads experience overall. I am on arimidex now since january and have had no major pain or stiffness. I am taking gabapentin for hot flashes. Occasional insomnia i treat with ambien.

    That's great, Carrye - it's nice to hear when things turn out well!  When did you first start having skin reaction?  I'm not quite halfway through, with only very mild symptoms so far, but RO told me yesterday that she anticipates that I will be on the "high end" of skin SEs towards the end.  Ugh...

    No skin symptoms until week 3. Then, ouch. My breast burned literally black. It was most painful in the arm pit and under neath i a 36 dd size. My doc said i was a 5 on a scale of 10 of worst cases of radiation dermatitis.
