SAS - I will remember what you said.  I am doing the same with my anger at the neighbor and his OWB, I don't have time to really deal with it, just keep moving (literally).  I say to self, self, yes there are voices in my head too..... self... if you had three months with QOL, what would you be doing.  I will remember what you said, that if I go, it will be peacefully.   In my novel, I paraphrased the words from Joann Shenandoah's CD Olenda, at the beginning.

we don't come here only to live. we don't own all that is given to us. we come to eat sleep and dream. and when you are ready o maker of life i will come home to you.  from Joann  shenandoah and Lawrence Laughing (Passage, Olenda CD)

I just got a message on my computer from the hospital. My heart is still racing. I thought, "Okay, this is it." I opened it up and it was a reminder for my appointment on Wednesday. I can't take this! Its too early to start drinking? Its 5 o'clock somewhere, right. Someone please calm me down!

    We wait with you......HUGS♥♥♥♥♥♥

Are you expecting the results through email?

I still haven't heard anything about the results from the biopsy. This is getting on my nerves.

Grannydukes and I met today and spent three hours talking and visiting. She would not let me take any pictures. It was very windy and our hair was a mess. We had a great time and promised to get together again. Next time, promise, we will take pictures and post them.

Tea is steeping and biscotti "Originali and  Turtle Pecan"  are plated.  Raspberry Elegance cake from Publix's is ready----white cake with raspberry jam layered caked with a buttercream/ phillydelephia cream(C) type cheese frosting. (not too sweet, finger licking good).

Sheila, Yes I agree the brain is hard to manage------remember a week ago I was "flying in the backyard at 6 am ". A week before that eating or trying to eat chocolate in the ICU after craniotomy. Talk about hard. I have never been a chocolate person. A few pieces a year. I become aware after some of the amnesic drugs have worn off. Craving  coffee that I have been off of since Dec 09 and Chocolate. There was chocolate that was sent by DS's associate. I go to put some in my mouth , thinking  "a wish had been answered". Clunk, against my teeth. My TMJ was so tight I couldn't get the chocolate _IN_--------, But we kept working till I was able to get some in. Ironic -yes?

Veggy, I don't know how you can stand it. I would be pacing like a caged animal. Is the appt they reminded you of with the doc who would have the results? You will be in my thoughts until you know.

Veggy sweetie --what's your time zone. EST here so, it's almost 10:30 pm. Duh, I know Granny is EST and you met today , so, you must be EST too. Unless Super Granny Dukes zipped through the sky to another zone. Well could be, Granny is capable of ALLOT. OH that was almost logical. Well may be the brain pieces I found aren't mine-----

Veggy, this is a possible thing to do , if you wish to do so. Go to the medical facility that houses the pathology lab doing your report. Go to MEDICAL RECORDS, Sign a medical release form, have a picture I.D. and you can obtain a copy of the pathology report.

You can call ahead to Medical records, tell them you are driving in to obtain the report and want to check to make sure that it is available before you make the drive. What should happen, is the medical records person should check the computer to make sure that the report has been signed by the pathologist. This person should answer yes or no that it is ready. Obviously, they will not give you any other info than that, you just want to avoid a drive if it hasn't been signed yet. Without the pathologist signature---it isn't official yet-------same with other dx stuff--radiologist for imaging results etc. I've almost always had all test results before my doc, but my facility is < 10 minutes away.

I'll be hanging around and checking back here for the next couple of hours. I wish I could take this worry from you Lovey.

I am 30 minutes away from Grannydukes so I am EST. I am ready to be committed. The hospital I go to is a 45 minute drive. I purposely made sure that I don't have my favorite booze around. I made my husband promise that no matter how much I beg...do NOT get me any. Thanks for all the nice thoughts, prayers and hugs.
