bruising anyone?

Not sure if this is in the right spot but here goes... Has anyone else noticed serious bruising of unknown etiology? I noticed last year (just prior to diagnosis) that I kept getting really nasty bruises without any idea how.  Now I am again noticing unexplained bruises.. May not have anything to do with anything but the timing is sure suspect....  Appreciate any replies.

    I've never heard of it being a symptom of any kind of mets but I'd ask your doctor.  Have you had your platelets checked?

    also I got a lot of bruising when I started taking fish oil, it is a blood thinner

    Have not had platelets checked and am not taking anything except Tamoxifen. Just seems so strange as these are look like ya been beat type bruises that seem to come out of nowhere..  Guess it is another trip to the doc.......sigh
