    Hi Many,

I'm not sure if there is a corolation between chemo & fatty liver.  I do know that a lot of people have fatty liver and don't even know it.  Most "ordinary" people don't have the blood work ups and scans that people dealing with cancer do.

Are you questioning whether Taxotere caused the fatty liver? Do you have any symptoms? A friend of mine has a fatty liver, and has elevated liver enzymes, but she does not have any form of cancer. She has Celiac (sp?) disease.

Hi many,  My onc did a scan soon after my chemo and "lesion too small to characterize" showed up on my liver.  That was the term that was used on the report.  It unnerved me, but my on was not worried at all and felt it was just a fatty lesion.  It's never been mentioned again after supsequent scans.  I hope this helps to take some of the worry from you.  Peace be with you and your wife.

I had fatty liver issues too, enzymes etc.   Everything is back to normal now.  I don't know it its from the treatment or that I was eating so much ice cream and cheesecake during chemo.
