Finished radiation
Hi All
I dont post a hole lot. I just finished 25 radiation treatments yesterday. I can say I feel so relieved and feel like 20 lbs have been lifted off me. I struggled with even doing radiation, I begged, pleaded not to have radiation, but I was convinced to do it for my twin girls. So I did,,, And I am proud to say I did finish.. Last week I sure was ready to give up.. but I did it.. I finished.
My skin is very raw, open under the armpit, under the boob, and very swollen.
I go next week to meet with my oncologist and also the plastic surgeron to see if the radiation did any damage to my implants, As I had my exhange on 01/30.
Well good luck to everyone that is still having radiation this month.. Prayers to you all..

Thank byou Lostone and MNGirlyGirl.... My skin is almost completely closed... still pink.. but hard to believe how fast that skin does heal... gone thru 2 1/2 bottles of emu oil and half bottle of aloe vera lotion.. but I am trying to keep it very lotion, from all the suggestions everyone posted on here,,.Hoping to do a 3D tattoo as my last part of this journey in September. Hoping to go to Renee in Florida.
