last evening we were invited to our neighbor's for spaghetti she is not a great cook but she likes to try. Anyway, the sauce was loaded with sugar....my husband really dislikes overly sweet sauce - I tried to get his attention before he loaded his bowl with sauce but couldn't. He barely got a few bites down and then apologized for his eyes being bigger than his stomach. He said he'd bring it home for lunch today, she piled more sauce on it - when we got home I burst out laughing at the thought of watching him trying to eat and say "mmm, good" when I know all he wanted to do was push it away.

Chinese food for Christmas 5 days after my mastectomy. It was the only restaurant my husband could find open. We normally host the family for Thanksgiving and Christmas and I wasn't 'zactly up for cooking yet.

a big hollow chocolate egg....It was really prettily decorated on the outside and when you lifted the top half, it was filled with candy! I had three brothers at the time, but I was the only one who got an egg like that! It made me feel quite special!
