Inflammatory Breast Cancer mets to ovary?

    Hi

    I was diagnosed with IBC in April 2009, had chemo, mastectomy, radio, more chemo, herceptin and now on tamoxifen.Also had wonderful reconstruction last April! Recent blood tests have shown increases in tumour markers and scan shows 7cm growth on left ovary. Am going to rapid access clinic on Thursday for tests.  I didn't think this type of cancer spread to ovaries? Or could it be ovarian cancer not a met?  Anyone been through something similar? Having a weepy night!

    Itcouldjust be a cyst. I think Tamoxifen can cause"female" problems. And inflammation can cause a rise in tumor markers. I hope it's something benign for you.
