Just Diagnosed with DCIS Grade III

I was diagnosed on March 16, 2012 with DCIS Grade III. I'm scheduled for medical care the week of April 16. The waiting is driving me crazy! Did anyone have pain after their biopsy? It didn't start hurting til today...maybe it's in my head :)

    my last biopsy was end of feb and I just started having pain this past thursday. I called the BS friday and they said its probably scare tissue where they too the cells out but if it's still hurting Monday i should call them. Of coarse I called saying oh no is it spreading! they said no its probably not...

    Sorry you are here, but everyone is really supportive so glad you found it!



    I had additional pain after my biopsy, but my lump was painful anyway. If you are worried, can you call your medical team? I have definitely pestered mine whenever I've needed to. Even if its just for my peace of mind.



    Hope this pain settles down while you are waiting for treatment xxx

    stacyk...what helped me after biopsy until a month or so after lumpectomy was finding a really comfy front zip sports bra type bra to give extra support and keep things "together"...seemed to minimize the discomfort from the biopsy site. I found mine @ JC Penneys for about $14. Good luck and hang in there. These boards are full of incredible women with a wealth of advice, encouragement and information.
