Hi all,
Biopsy went well for mom; minimal discomfort, etc. However, sometime during the night (back home) she collapsed. Fortunately my sister is here, staying at her house. Mom thinks she roused at about 6am, & started calling for my sister who didn't hear her until about 6:30am (mostly my mom couldn't muster any volume). Long story short-we got her into the doc & she's running a low-grade fever, her oxygen level was low & she was just weak from being trapped on a cold floor in the middle of the night for so long. She seems to be rallying. We will have result of biopsy on Monday (but doc did say today it might be Tues) AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHH! I know God's got this, but I feel such fear!

ohhh, Joni, im praying for your mom, and you girls..3jays

Oh, your poor mother. How frustrated and frightened she must have been.
Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9)

This is a story of the rebuilding of my faith,
Yesterday, I was going to come on here and ask for help with praying about a situation. But it all happened so fast, now I am asking, please say thank you for me instead.
We need to move, the neighbor's outside wood boiler smoke is so horrible, smoke and fumes always even in 80 degree weather and was like that all summer too. I needed to move bcz I am sick of heart to not enjoy fresh air or my birds or garden ever and bcz my co2 level is quite high being stuck in this tightly wrapped house. I am afraid to breathe or exercise, I hold my breath here in this lovely home we bought a year ago.
All things panned out for us to be told we would have the money - a call from nowhere and a check in the mail from nowhere for just enough to get our DD a fuel efficient affordable vehicle for her delivery job, we then got the call about that check and were told we could get a loan if we needed one, with all our chaos and destroyed credit, he said what? Then a call from a lady we knew saw our sign at the store 30 miles away and told us there was a house in the middle of 80 acres of woods and fields, and long story short, a perfect house for us, all we need, not too big or small, clean, smells good, one floor and there is even a sunporch, first floor laundry and walkin closet for me. Everything I thought I was going to miss from giving up our home and renting somewhere wher ewe would be safe..... But I see all this coming about and still I was afraid we would not be able to get the money anyway, that we would still be stuck here and breathing this carcinogenic air - w ER+ last thing I need is this daily dose of pseudoestrogen and carcinogens, so dangerous for mets to lungs and more, so I was afraid. But we called about the money and it was the easiest ever to pick it up, the man helped by even fudging on the app so we would be able to get the loan, after all we have been through, we needed that extra help to get to a healthy place to heal and rest and we needed the new landlord to say yes and he did and the loan guy to help it happen and he did and the lady to call us and she did.
So please, just help me say thank you. I feel so taken care of, so treasured, and even though I am really nervous of being out there all alone so many nights each month while DH works, and I will have to pray about that, I am sure, but I know it is where I am to go to heal and write my stories and garden and sing and wallk and meditate. Thanks!
I thank you Creator of this Universe, and all those who you created who are caring for my best interests in this world... who are teaching me and protecting me and holding me up, I am so grateful for this spiritual lesson in trust and in rebuilding my faith. Thank you for touching the hearts of those involved so they did their part so well to take us to this new place in the forests and wildlife habitats, in the silence, the clean air again. Thank you for a place to come and share this story of the hope you offered. May the arms of the Peacemaker be around us all.

Praise Him!
This is the chorus that immediately came to mind after reading your testimony, DianEssa
Clap your hands all ye people
Shout unto God with the voice of triumph
Clap your hands all ye people,
Shout unto God with the voice of praise.
Hosanna, hosanna, shout unto God with the voice of triumph,
Praise Him praise Him, shout unto God with the voice of praise.

While I was away last week a friend of mine from Montreal with stage 4 BC passed away suddenly.Last time I saw her was at my daughters wedding. My husband chose not to tell me until we had returned from our holiday because he thought i would get too upset and spoil my birthday.Men!!!
Her husband was always sort of indenial about her stage 4 dx and always said that she would beat it.My DH is going to spend some time with him this week. She too was only in her 50's. I really hate this disease!!!! -
So sorry about your friend, Mum. Your friend's husband will be in my prayers. You husband was kind to wait, really he was. Your trip wouldn't have been as nice, because you know you would have been thinking about that... a lot!!!!
-
Mum~ So sorry about your friend. I really hate cancer!!
-

(((Mum)))
My mom is declining rapidly. Tuesday, the 27th, she walked her dog, read her newspaper & went with me to DD's softball game. Yesterday, the 4th, she slept all day, with only 2 potty breaks & she was "danced" to the bathroom by my aunt because Mom has no strength. She's wearing Depends 24/7 (added on 3/29) & her onc appointment is the 12th, I can't get it moved up, and I don't think she is going to make it.

((((Joni))))
-
So sorry, Joni. Couldn't this be considered an emergency? Can't they slip her in at all?
When I saw that "mumito" was the last to post, I though, how coincidental, we already have Mum**** posting here...You threw me, Mum!
(edited because I found out why, and removed reference to your former screen name)
