Beachies, my beachie babes -- old + new.
Yesterday was my fifth year cancerversary of my first diagnosis -- it was also our 18th wedding anniversary. Quite a day of emotions -- of every sort.
We took the twinZees to the 'real' beach (Atlantic) as opposed to the closer Gulf beach.
They had such a great time and we stayed ahead of the sun-screen sufficiently that everyone stayed 'safe' in the sun.
I attempted to put pictures on my blog of all of the various BCO buddies that I have met in my travels. I was compiling the post past my brain's operational best -- so I will go back and edit it some more today during naptime.
xx00xx00xx00xx
Thanks to everyone here who has held my hand, kicked my fanny, said a prayer and sent a happy beachie photo to help uplift me over the years.

Hi Beachy Babes! It's been a really long time I see many newbies & many oldbies!!!! Waving with the waves & I'm hang out for a while, while I'm put on waiting list again! Hopefully not as long as the first/last time. Would rather be waiting to get into Margaritaville instead of MRI-ville! Hopefully I will know in the next day or so! I hope I can build some nice Sandcastles in my mind!

Love the tan lines picture!
Had hoped to go to the coast today, but didn't happen. Plus, the Oregon coast is experiencing some pretty significant storms.
-
I'm off to the Georgia coast today! Can't wait to get my toes in some sand...

Had a wonderful week in Northern CA with my DS. We hiked out by the lighthouse at the Marin Headlands, rode the ferry from Larkspur (Novato) to San Francisco and watched the Golden Gate & Alcatraz in the rain, and checked out the new wetland development at the old Hamilton AFB where the runway's were taken up. Spent an afternoon & a night in Pacifica at Rockaway Beach. Waves were crashing. Surfers were out. Kites were flying. I left the hotel balcony door open & slept to the sound of the waves. This was my first Pacific "fix" in 2 years thanks to BC, and it was fantastic to get back. Nothing else like the ocean.

I couldn't agree more Minustwo...nothing like it..so happy you had such a nice time
