You'll need really big pockets for Tuesday. Hugs and prayers.

HUGE POCKETS!
So sorry you are going through this again. I know what you mean about feeling like you need to be the strong one, I kept telling everyone around me who was crying, techs, my GP, that I was all right, it would be fine, I was okay, I will be just fine, just believe it. So we will all believe it for one another.
-
Veggy..I'm so sorry you have to deal with more of this..*hugs* I'll be watching for your report on Tuesday.Special K...thanks for letting us know how Sas was doing..I had my own scare the past few weeks when I found a lump in the same region as the last one. The ultrasound report said it is not cancer. Apparetly it's fluid so I am waiting for the nurse to call back to explain how this fluid is causing this hard lump...it was a scarey few weeks..
-
Gosh, VEGGY, I am some kinda sad to hear your news. What a disaster, indeed. I would cry a river. I wish there was a chemical they could just pour on the wound when they open a person up, to just kill it, kill it all. I guess that's what rads can do, the cleanup crew. BUT let us hope that it's just some irritated bumps in there. STILL, I gotta say, girl, you are one smart cookie to jump all over this thing like you done. We will await Tuesday. GG

Today was the first time I had a chance to be alone. I was driving to my babysitting job and listening to the radio. The tears were rolling down my cheeks. I told the mother and we stood crying together. I love this little 5 month old little girl I babysit. She brings me a lot of joy and comfort. I hope by the time she gets older this beast, breast cancer, will be gone. I've been snuggling her all morning. I'm off to go shopping. Can't mope around the house all day. You guys are always with me. Thanks!
-
SAS, Emily, glad things went well for you.
Veggy, I'm so sorry you are dealing with this again. Make room for me in that big pocket!

Sheila888..is it possible you are having panic attacks? They can happen when you are under prolonged stress. Talk to your doctor and see if he can give you something or at least talk to your cancer nurse about this. Panic attacks aren't unusual but they are pretty unpleasant.
-
Sheila, you awake? You okay? Sweet dreams. It's 3am in NY, 1 am here.
I think everyone needs Rescue Remedy in their pocket at all times. Just saying, whether it is emotional or physical, it helps me and mine.
-
another vote for Rescue Remedy.
5 drops for me, in about 2 inches of water in a glass.
sometimes i sip, sometimes i chug it down.
-
SHEILA, we don't want our girl to cry and feel poorly, thou must visit thy doc, be they breast cancer doc or regular doc, anyone will do. Next time that happens to you, try to take in some nice deep breaths, it can slow the heart and thus slow panic. DIANESSA, I do love your cottage, how divine! We live a little ways out, altho the road out front is fast and noisy at times, and I love looking long, long ways to the ridges and pastures and woods beyond. We have a mudroom off the deck, very used and handy, and I instantly thought of your porch with the sun and shade thing, some little places like that can give so much pleasure. Hi FUZZ, always in my thoughts.
PEOPLE, I have slaved to get to April, for I have the month off, to just wallow, and most importantly not to have to go anywhere (except found out brother is coming next week, but that's a good thing). For me, my mental state is the most fragile, and it is my tore-up back from a wreck that makes it hard for me to do stuff I used to do, nevermind the cancer since it has subsided. So, I need these times off, husband does groceries for me then. And you know what, while I am tired today, it is a good tired. We must grab the few moments in a day, or a couple days between appointments, or a weekend off from work, and savor the day, with the occasional trantrum allowed. "Savor the day" is in the words to this song I really got into for this past year's TV Classic Movies remembering every actor who passed, and I kept the link to play it whenever I like, so I put it below. It takes a while for the video to come up, complete with awful commercial. When the song finally starts playing, if it breaks up, just hit pause for a few minutes, and then resume it. GG

N- hard to post-------affected Tmj. can't wear glasses to long. Some pain, controlled well. Special K with me about 6 hours over two out of 3 days. Very special person. She posted accurate description on Fuzzy's board. Better today . Using Bag balm on eye and swelling and IV sites. Have to remember not do to what I'm not supposed to do/ Bending is the worst. Used to doing the pick up. etc. -----Risk is seizures. Supposed to have someone with me for two weeks. Never had that recommendation before. Going to make poop pick up hard in two weeks LOL. Supposed not not bend for 6=8,weeks. Lots of poop, will have to do some adjustment. LOL.
Doing range of motion on jaw so it doesn't freeze up. some numbness on forehead and side of right face and right eye, but no ptosis. Yeah. Hope all continues as well.Want to see Pcp , but OOT till Wed.
Balance better---had 2 near falls-----trying to behave. One in hospital and one at home.
Typing much better this am than last night.
Lost 6 pounds after discharge---------loaded with IV fluids.. Now have to watch things b/c still on steroids, tapering. Smoking cessation the hardest. If you don't mind and I think you won't will cut and past a couple places.
Moffitt best Hospital I have been in. Makes my hospitals here look pittiful. Bummer. sas
-
Sheila heart to heart-----sounds like panic attack, but do you have ability to check blood sugar? Talk with doc in am. Should have a few things checked out. Blood sugar okay, think about ativan. Usuaul treatment for panic attacks is paxil, but try to avoid, too many side affects. Less durgs with major s.e.'s the better. How are you sleeping? Lack of sleep causes all kinds of bad things. I found one ativan and variable dose of Melatonin is GREAT. My Melatonin got left at Moffitt. Bummer.Start low on Melatonin and work up. Take both drugs and get in bed, read a little , but be prepared to let sleep happen. It's amazing what afew connected hours of sleep will do to your overall well being. AND attitude.AND strength. AND Typing.-Sas Write if there are more symptoms. SAS----------Sheila to sheila

Special K-----you are a wonderful person-------The difference that it made for me at Moffit, was beyond belief. I can't conceive what it would have been like had you not been there. It was as if we were a true blood sisters in minutes. I hope our friendship always keeps up. My home is always open to you. Thank goodness we have the Titusville connection and Tampa. The flowers are by the side of the Infant of Prague. The chocolate as you know is quite gone. It brought many smiles to many faces. Thank you again, you can see the typing this morning is much better.
Moffitt is beyond belief my hospital of choice. Makes my hospitals here look not so good. Bummer. I near fell here at home , so, again being careful. Bending is the worst. Getting pretty good with the feet lifting. LOL.
Bless you, I will never ever forget your kindness. Hope all goes well with the family. L&H&P's sas

sas - I am not so wonderful, I just thought that if I were in your shoes I would want someone who understands to come see and help me! I was just fortunate that you are who you are I got to spend time with YOU! Of course we are blood sisters - we have this bond! I want you to be careful while you are at home, and take it easy! Do not overdo it! I know you feel good but you don't want to go backwards, right! I am sure we will see each other again soon!
veggy - thinking about you and sending you strength.

Thanks for caring...i had a good night in Fuzzy's Romp Room.
I have been on AD and Klonopine for years nowand see my DR regularly.
Anxiety & Panic attacks were pretty good controlled. Depression that's another story but i have been feeling OK.
My MH DR always tells me I should take an extra Klonopine when it's needed so that's what i did

My glucose levels are normal.......take pills for cholesterol and BP which also in good control.
Feeling much better today but very tired which i can handle it.
I appreciate all my friends here so much♥
Love & Hugs ♥♥♥♥♥♥

sheila888 - I am so sorry you were having this problem, my MIL does also. It is scary when it is happening, I know, you can't control it or make it stop by your self - or at least that is how it feels. I hope you are feeling better this weekend.
-
Sas..great to see you back! For those who suggested Rescue Remedy ..are any of you also on Tamoxifen? Just wondering if they were safe to take together. My sister gave me some Rescue Remedy but was concerned it could react with my other meds?
-
I'll be sleeping in my own bed tonight.
Fuzzy...It's good to know there was a place to come when i needed it.
It's very chilly in NY. I'm not liking it.
Good Night All my friends ♥♥

Hi, Rescue Remedy and any flower essence does not react with any medication. It is merely an essence, the flowers are picked at optimum time and floated in a glass bowl of spring waer in the morning sun, then the water is filtered and diluted and diluted again. The alcohol or vinegar or sometimes glycerin that you smell in the bottle is just to preserve the essences from mildew or mold...... thus, given the way they are created, the flower is but a memory of the energy that the plant offers, not like an herb or something that is in a dose. What does that really mean? To me, every person offers an energy, every bird, and if we believe in angels, they do too, so the flowers and trees also aare here to give their beauty and energy to the world, just like we are, and this is one way they have been shown to do so. Developed by a physician who turned to homeopathy then to develop something even gentler for healing and support, he was in Wales.
FAQs here http://www.fesflowers.com/faq_essences.htm#e12
I studied homeopathy for three years on my own, determined to test into a program and get my degree in the UK and the US where I live, but the US does not allow me to practice since I do not have a medical degree and not incllined to get one, so just did the study for me. On the journey, I found the flower essences interested me as much and did get certified to do these, just love them and the flowers, the gentle and noninvasive support. My favorites are North American and Alaskan. To each their own, aandfor me, thisis my favorite thing. besides writing stories.
Glad you are feeling calmer Sheila, and SAS, that you are getting stronger, could tell by your post.
One night soon when we move I could be in here bouncing off walls because I will be so out there in the nowhereness of the country in the middle of nowhereville, isolated and need people to talk to and will need my rescue remedy and probably something added for real courage. Know I am projecting, but imagine a driveway to nowhere, in the middle of 80 acres surrounded by another 1000 acres that is the next door neighbor's farm, all woods and fields and nobody there except maybe someone who is not supposed to be. I am going to take up shooting mark and teach Danny Boy to look a little more stoic
