Marybe,
You have a big heart and it's would take a lot more than a little Red Devil to do it in, so you should be able to withstand a good, long time. On the other hand, soon you will be one of the "most Devilish" around. Hehehe.
Numbers down, shrinkage next time. Have a great trip!

Hi Ladies, I am in Williamsburg, VA in the business office computer room since I am unable to get signed up in the condo for some reason. Weather is not what I would call warm, but light jacket weather and nice.....sat in sun yesterday on the balcony, but for sure it's not warm enough to use the outdoor pool. We walked around in the restoration area yesterday and did a little shopping there as well as on Sat. after lunch. Met up with a friend from highschool who live in VA Beach for lunch on Sat. so there were five of us. Just Kathy and her former roommate from college and I are at the condo. Today we are going to another friends for brunch (she lives here).
Gotta get back to the condo, but wanted to check in. I was able to put my treatment off til Thurs so we will be leaving her on Wed. Flowers in bloom and foilage are beautiful.
-
Marybe: So glad you are having a good time. The weather sounds perfect for walking around...not too hot. That's the way I like it when I sightsee. I love Williamsburg...it's so quaint.
-
Marybe, Again I have another reason to wish I weren't so afraid of flying! I would have made the trip to visit my brother that he wants me to do and met you all for lunch too. He lives there in Williamsburg. He and his wife are tour guides for one of the local companies. If he weren't recovering from a hip replacement I would have tried to hook you up for a private tour.
-
Marybe, I visited Williamsburg when I was in high school. I absolutely loved it and still remember it as one of the best vacations ever.
Enjoy!

Glad you're having a good time! It's always so nice to get away, and Williamsburg is such a beautiful place.

It's always good to get away. Enjoy!

Hi Marybe!
-
Marybe, where are you? Have you come home from Williamsburg, or did you decide to stay and become a reenactor? Woe is the woman with breast cancer back in colonial times.
Hope you had a Happy Easter.

Hey, Elimar.....I am at home.....well, the office actually. I cannot get on BCO at home, still get that down for maintenence message when I try to get on so it is my computer that is messed up I guess. I am fine...trip was fun, got a tan so I am happy and also got a lot of needed rest. I don't think I would look good in a mop cap or whatever those things are they wear, but the little kids certainly did look cute in their outfits. Beautiful gardens and flowers and one of these days I will post some pics. We stopped at The GreenBrier for lunch on the way back home. Sorry if I had you worried and hope I will be able to get back to posting soon. Marybe

Marybe, I hope you had a lovely trip and drank a few margaritas for me too. Your news is awesome and I know how hard it is when your scans keep saying no changes but it turns out you are really stable. It is that fine line of interpretation! That is fantastic and having your markers down too, great news. Wishing you well. Hugs Dawn

Try this for the 'under maintenence' pages: go to each page, one at a time, press and hold Ctrl and then press F5.
-
Each and every page of all my favorites and all the pages that have been posted on here? I just don't understand why it is the one computer I use at home that is giving me the problem. I am at home right now, but am on the little Mac airbook, not the desk top that I usually use. So this computer works, the computer at the office works and it has to be something with the desk top as whenever I try to sign in there I get that shut down for maintenence for 45 mins message. Oh well, another one of life's little mysteries and at least this time it is not one going on within my body. This weekend I am taking a class to find out more about using a Mac so maybe I will just make this my full time computer. However, thank you for the advice Ruth.....just don't know if I am computer savy enough to do that.
-
I was fine at work too &my home computer was the one that was messed up (because it is older?). I am totally not computer savy, someone else told me to just go to the page with the mantience message & while on that page just press and hold down the Ctrl key in the left hand corner and the F5 key on top. A little spinning disc appeared & then I was in......easy and worth a try.
-
I think deleting your "cookies" will make it all new for you. The computer doesnt know it is all okay now. Now you need to ask someone else how to delete your cookies because I don't know! LOL

Good News!!!! Great news in fact. The PA from Dr.Cody's office called me at work this AM (am on lunch hr now) to tell me she had seen the labs that came in today and that my CA 27.39 from yesterday is 1,507. A month ago it was 2,373 so that is about an 800 drop. I am soooo excited and to think I wasn't even going to call to find out because I just had a feeling that maybe it has stopped working....fingernails are getting worse, but I think the hair has stopped coming out and I may even be growing fuzz. BUT I was WRONG.....I love to be wrong in some cases. I thanked her so much for calling and said Wow, at this rate maybe next time I have scans they will show that the tumors are shrinking. I love weekly Adriamycin and think I am going to have to bake something really really good to celebrate with when I have my appointment next week. Gotta go, but wanted to share my good good news. Hope springs eternal!!!
