I'm 25 years and I just had my breast removed exactly 2 weeks ago. I'm going Thursday to have my port put it. I'm not sure which type of chemo I have to have but I was told that no one is "exempt" from their hair falling out. I've barely been married 6months and now my husband has to not only deal with me not having any breasts but also no hair. I'm aware that it's temporary (which is what he keeps telling me) He has been helpful and very supportive so far. I just do not know how to deal with the fact that in a few weeks I'm going to be going bald. Am I the only one feeling this way??

Sade - Sorry that you are going throught this so soon after marrying. That's a lot to adjust to. Sounds like your hubby is a supportive guy. My husband came with me to pick out wigs before I lost my hair and we had fun with it. You can try all kinds of cuts, colors and styles that you couldn't have with your own hair. Ofcourse, none of us likes being bald but I tried to look to the positive. I could get ready to go out a lot faster. My hair always looked perfect. And when my son came home with lice, I could take my hair off and not worry about getting it myself! There are some threads for women in their 20s you can probably find good support there. Good luck with your treatment.
