3 Steps To Incredible Health/Eat To Live

Options

Hi there,

I'm watching a pbs program by Dr. Joel Fuhrman, author of the the books, Eat To Live and 3 Steps To Incredible Health.  I'm very interested in it.  I wondered if anyone here is familiar with these books and what they think of them.

I need to make some healthy changes in my lifestyle and I'm interested in purchasing these books.

Thank you for your time and comments. :-)

I have the EAT TO LIVE--- pretty basic, but inspiring . It's my birthday and I have been eating sugar. Yuck. Gotta stop. Should go on the stop eating sugar thread.

Had to put my 2 cents in on Eat to Live...I've been following the book for almost a year with my husband (who was labeled diabetic, on BP and Chol meds), We are both down 30lbs and counting and he is off all meds. The adjustment is hard, easier if you have help and no opposition in your house! I joined the website for recipes and worked out a little system for how we eat and prepare for the week/work etc. Of course, we are pretty free with taking off for vacations...and I've been rebellious since my recent diagnosis. It just annoys me that I started doing things right and then wham...but that's life in this fallen world and I too have a faith that looks up and trusts God. So, we are working on getting back on track. Still, with all my "cheating" and emotional eating, I am only up 4lbs. Anything I can do to help!!

    lilbettyc,

Thank you for your review of the book and diet/lifestyle plan.  I did purchase the book but haven't read it yet.  It 's good to hear that you had success when you followed the plan.  I did not know that they had a website, I'll check that out too.  Thanks for sharing your experience.  Congratulations on your weight loss, 30 lbs is about what I need to lose.

    Wishing you continued success!  :-)
