    I am in the final throws of making a decision to have a BMX after being diagnosed with DCIS last week. A week full of doctors and phone calls has made my brain feel like it is

    Internally about to explode. Has anyone used dr. Disa at sloan or Keegan at Sinai? I would love your views. Thanks!!!

    Dr. J Disa is listed in the Castle Connolly Medical list for top doctors and has "ADT" by his name. You can search here: linky but just because Dr. Keegan isn't listed doesn't mean s/he isn't just as good.

    ADT - denotes the doctor is in either the current edition of America's Top Doctors® or America's Top Doctors® for Cancer.

    I will be having a MX at MSKCC and need to pick a PC. My choices are either Joseph Disa or Colleen McCarthy. Can anyone share their experiences of working with either? He seems to have more experience but she seems younger and more eager to please.

    hi   I know I'm a little late on this topic...[whats a yr or so??] Dr.Joesph Disa is FABULOUS !! CARING AND COMPASSIONATE DR.. HE HAS DONE MORE THAN MY BREAST RECONSTRUCTION ON ME OVER MANY YRS AT MSKCC..NYC..HE HAS HELPED ME OUT IN SOOO MANY WAYS OVER THE YRS..EVEN WAS THERE FOR ME FOR MY DIFFERENT TYPES OF SURGERIES..JUST IN CASE HE WAS NEEDED..TO CLOSE UP THE SURGERY..GREAT DR..AND ALSO "EYE CANDY"  VERY EASY ON THE EYES..Nerdy

    omg he is so cute! i was not prepared for that! he's doing my DUG flap surgery on 5/30/2017 with dr dayan and i have so much confidence in them! i hope my gut is right this time!
